For me, the raster maps are now great. Some are not available at high zooms (OSM Outdoor) so look really jaggy when expanded further to eg ZL16 @ 400% but others are available right up to high zooms.
They were completely unusable before, without using a fixed zoom on the device.

@tapio
On the latest iteration of the Voluntary theme, mountain huts are indicated from zoom 13 on the hike style, with detailed icons from zoom 15.

That's great. Could you also please try the latest modded theme, in my previous post: https://forum.locusmap.eu/index.php?topic=2915.msg55516#msg55516

Hmm. I have trees in mine! I don't think any files are missing in the archive but either the installation may have gone wrong or the theme cache may be stuck.
Could you please validate the integrity of the theme by a long tap on its name in the theme chooser. That will also kick the theme cache if it is stuck. If it fails to verify, it should tell you of any missing files. You might try deleting the theme from the same long tap menu and installing the modified theme I just added to the previous post.
(The tree symbols do not appear at zoom 13 in the City style, or if the detail box is unchecked.)

The modified theme I posted last night for you is named Voluntary MF v5 (and uses v5 scaling for dashed and dotted lines).
The version with no tree symbols is called Velocity MF v5 and has a simplified display.
Junction names only appear in the "roads" style, and shouldn't look like that. There's something wrong here, either in the mapping or in my modified theme. I'll look into it.
Edit: Looks like the link roads have been mapped with extended junction names. Not very helpful. I'll take the road references off link roads to solve that.
Edit 2: Please try the modified theme in the attachment to this post.

Those actually are not junction numbers but cycle route nodes, which are supposed to be of interest to cyclists.
I admit the size is far too large! We don't have these in the UK so I'd overlooked testing them properly. I'll make some changes in the next version which will be out shortly.
In the meantime, try out this version, attached below.

My Locus Free has updated to 3.38.0 and is now no longer a beta (I think). However, there are no ads appearing.

Edit: ads now appearing!

I don't know if this is a BRouter problem or a Locus problem, but it occurred in real life using the latest beta version of Locus. I've boiled it down to a particular junction for this example but it's not the only time it happened.
Navigating from N 32.38866, W 03.90318 to N 52.38831, W 03.90242 using BRouter offline set for Locus profile Fast Eco I got an instruction to "turn around" instead of "turn left". The map show a "turn left" symbol on the route, but the itinerary shows a U-turn.

I understand that you need to work on the autozoom settings screen but the current one now displays incorrect values. If I attempt to do the settings while I have a MFv4 map displayed, the map magnification value it shows for zero speed is 16|100% (which is correct for LoMaps and MFv3) but the map image and scale corresponds to 18|100% for my device for MFv4. I've not yet checked it on the move.

Returning to the matter of double contour lines with MFv4 maps where more than one map covers the area in question, which is apparently linked with map auto loading. With the latest version, this still happens but it's always resolved by selecting the map again or by selecting the theme again, which makes me think the problem is not insoluble.

@menion
If you can get the map display working again in this setting screen, then the text for the scale bar length itself may be sufficient, eg "60 yd" in the screenshot.
In the screenshot, also note the ellipsis ("...") is not needed in the first column.

"Zoom according to speed" setting doesn't display a map as a visual clue for me, unlike current Pro version. Also, as the significance of zoom values has changed, is setting this by zoom values the right approach? If I use a Locus or MFv3 map, ZL15 typically gives an equivalent area to ZL13 with a MFv4 map now.

Search address (offline), select country no longer works in beta. List of countries appears, tap on any one briefly highlights it but nothing further. Works OK for me in my current full Pro version.
(Edit)
Furthermore, Search Contacts loads contacts (OK), tap X in top corner to back out gives screen with back arrow in top left, hamburger menu top right, neither of which work. Use system back arrow to get search side menu to appear, select a different option and then exit from search OK.

@Viajero Perdido:
(a) Taking your starting view as ZL12/100%, tap on the Zoom Lock button. View is now a magnified version of current zoom, say ZL12/1600%.
(b) Tap the [ + ] or [ - ] buttons and the magnification changes but the zoom is locked at ZL12.
(c) Now tap Zoom Lock to turn it off and display reverts to (say) ZL12/100%.
(d) Next time you tap Zoom Lock you will see the map view magnified by the same percentage as you left it with last in (b) above.

@menion: Yeah I agree yellow road on yellow background is not very visible. I didn't choose it purposefully though, it was just what the Locus internal theme displayed. In any case, it does show the shading is getting too dark too soon. It's much the same with a LoMap and V3 renderer, though the road and background are not yellow but pale off-white.
As for the forum, I got a series of errors when I attempted to post. First, "attachment too large"; then when I changed the attachment, "posted again too soon"; then after I waited, "you have already made this post". Grrr. I had to back out and start again.
