I have seen it in more apps that one could change between light and dark theme. (I guess that it should be a built-in thing) Is that possible in Locus as well?

Natural process?
Do you believe in uniformity instead of diversity?
If I had apps looking all the same style it would be sad.... and boring. So please stay with your own design.

If I could choose, I would stay with the old design. First, I find it elegant, second if it is not broken don't fix it. But it's only me. :-)

The first thing I have noticed is how all the tabs became bigger. In earlier versions, more tabs were visible at the top. I don't know if it can be made smaller. Maybe they have to sell bigger and bigger phones because of wasted screen space like this.
This brighter theme is not too elegant, but I know that this is the trend.
All in all I like the previous look better, but it is only my opinion and it does not seem to affect Locus usage adversely based on a small couch test.

I know recording does not start without coverage, but I do not like to start recording without an acceptable accuracy and do not want to litter my data by false points in the beginning of the recording.

I went biking yesterday and I have learned why it is a good idea to have a separate big button for quickly adding a waypoint. I have added points along the route where I saw a point where you can take water. It was useful because next time I will know how long it takes before I can refill my bottle.

Another thing to consider in my opinion is satellite coverage. I use locus by first tapping on Sat screen and once I have sat coverage AND good accuracy I start the recording. How about pushing the green button once for searching for satellites and displaying accuracy below it? Actual recording would start on second tap. If any time stop is pressed the process would end (searching would stop - nothing to save, or recording would stop like now) this would of course require swapping the pause and stop buttons.

@jusc, @gynta: main problem is your language as usually. I'll probably add new function to locus - optimize German language (skip every second letter) :). Oki, thanks, I'll add some break like to text.

Hihihi :-D :-D

Without a target it works as a simple compass

If you do not give it one, why would it have one?
Select a point on the map, then 'navigate to' and you have your target. :-)

In the play store version there is a map for that, precisely as you described. It worked for me like a charm.

Is it for track editing only, or a general setting?
In general I like the big screen as it provides me with the required information immediately for geocaching.

Ooo is it possible to make this not compulsory, I like that this inner pop-up was removed some time ago. Or how about making it active for long press?

Hi!
It must be a small error and it will be corrected soon as I know menion.
Can you restore the old version from a backup temporarily?

@szebenyib: if you do just basic update from previous 3.2.3 version, then it's quite weird.

It was an update from 3.2.3. I had a phone reinstall, and restored 3.2.3 via titanium backup, I don't know if that matters. Maybe I have not opened it before upgrading as I mainly used free for testing. Never mind it is not a big deal :-) If it happens again, I will write it here.

It wants to download 5mb data again. Is it intended?
(The grammar is not correct on the screen, it should be: please check your Internet connection or something similar)
