Hello,
recently I observed change of behavior (don't know in which version precisely) when Locus is sent to background and then restored, let me describe:
Open Locus, open a cache via map, switch to Listing tab
Press Home button to send Locus to background
Open Locus again via its icon
Locus is restored but shows the map, not the listing of cache. You have to open the cache again.
This is sometimes a little cumbersome when cache listing contains more complicated formula to calculate and I have to switch to a calculator app and then back to Locus :) Please can this be fixed?
Thanks.

Hi,

not sure if this is related to the addon. When trying to log a cache and a setting a trackable I own to "visited this cache", I get an error message and the trackable doesn't log to have visited the cache.

Also: How do I find an offline field log, if I don't select the cache itself. For example: I log offline when discovering the cache, and later at home I would like to upload the logs of the day. How can I find the field logs?

Thanks
MYTH Inc.
To upload field notes, use "Geocaching Live" from menu and from there select "Upload field notes".

Yes, this is very annoying. I have to use FTP server over wifi as a workaround.

No, I do not.

Yesterday I updated G4L since google play offered the update, to version 1.5.4.3 (as displayed in preferences). In the changes, there was "fixed handling of corrected coordinates" so I went to check if it works according to the steps we discussed earlier but it still does not work :(
Handling of corrected coordinates is still not fixed in latest version. Is something going to be done with it?

Can I ask again. I see the maximum number of caches around a point that can be downloaded is set at 200. I believe the api limit is 6000 so I was wondering why the limit is 200 and could it be increased?
+1. For example, for Bratislava it is not nearly enough and I have to download caches more times and then there are duplicates which I choose to overwrite (so more caches is downloaded than really needed).

I really like the new track record panel. Great job!

There is a typo: when you are going to send field notes to groundspeak, there is a checkbox "Delete a records after upload", it should be "Delete records after upload".

Damn, I can't reproduce it with rc1 version! Can you check if my steps are correct?

Test environment:

  • Locus Pro ver. 2.20.2
  • Geocaching4Locus ver. 1.5.4.3-rc1

Steps:

  • Import any mystery cache which doesn't have filled-in changed coordinates (e.g. GC2Q9RP) to Locus - G4L -> Import GC, G4L set to download complete cache data
  • Open cache in a web browser (GC2Q9RP) and press the pencil symbol which is placed after coordinates. Fill-in different coordinates and press Submit button. Then press Accept button to confirm it.
  • Now open that imported cache in Locus, via external application button select Update cache in a menu.
  • Cache should be now placed on a new coordinates.

Note: I tried it also with marked / unmarked "Move to final waypoint" and "Keep data while import", first two choices in Geocaching configuration section in Locus, but without any change.
Sorry for the late response, was on a geocaching trip :)
So I downloaded the RC version again and tried it again - bug is still present. Locus version is same as yours but the G4L addon has version 1.5.4.3 only (without -rc1) as displayed in G4L settings. Are you sure the file on dropbox is the RC1 one or is it supposed to display version without the rc part?

Thanks for the fast response. I tried the rc1 version but the problem is still present :(

Bad news - updating a cache with corrected coordinates is broken again (it was broken some time ago here).
To reproduce:
- download a mystery cache with corrected coordinates to Locus
- update the corrected coordinates to some different coordinates via GC website
- open the mystery cache in Locus and choose Update cache - it is updated but the coordinates are still old ones.

@mek: this happen to you with latest test version or 2.16.0 from store?
I have checked, it's 2.16.0 from store.

When I upload field notes, they appear in wrong order on gc.com website - the first one is always wrong (the rest is OK). Looks like the date/time of the first one is shifted two hours back.

Disabling the overlay is fine :) Thanks for quick fix.
