Ahoj,

1. Jedine co me ted napada je, vyjmenovat vsechny "nezname" tagy
<rule e="node" k="barrier" v="*">
   <rule e="node" k="barrier" v="bollard" zoom-min="17">
      <circle r="1.5" fill="#707070" />
   </rule>
   <rule e="node" k="barrier" v="gate" zoom-min="17">
      <symbol src="file:/symbols/vehicle/gate.png"/>
   </rule>
   <rule e="node" k="barrier" v="vsechny|dalsi|atributy|ktere|mohou|byt|v|mape|pro|barrier" zoom-min="17">
      <symbol src="file:/symbols/vehicle-restriction/barrier.png"/>
   </rule>
</rule>

Jeste je potreba zminit dalsi a vlastne dulezitejsi vec. Aby tema funguvalo musi byt vsechny "nezname" tagy vygenerovany v samotne mape. Vektorova mapa obsahuje jen atributy, ktere se definuji pri generovani. Viz - http://code.google.com/p/mapsforge/wiki/GettingStartedMapWriter#Defining_a_Custom_Tag_Mapping_via_XML
Seznam atributu pro Locus vektorove mapy: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manual:vector_maps_content

Tedy s Locus vektorovou mapou muzes definovat pouze bodove prvky pro: bollard, cycle_barrier, gate, lift_gate

@Hedaja
You can try to use align-center=true or change the image itself.
White gaps - sorry no way.
Performance - maybe question for menion.  I thing that render uses repeatedly the same image matrix so it shouldn't be problem

Hi,
Legend for internal vector themes is available in the app:
- Menu > Map > Vector > long tap on map
- below the themes is section "Basic info" which contains link to the Legend

or direct link: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/maps:legend:vector_maps_legend

Hi,
here is used one of improvment of Mapsforge library for Locus. For line symbol you can use attributes: repeat="true"  repeat-gap="0dp"
In internal themes:
<rule e="way" k="natural" v="cliff" zoom-min="14">
    <line stroke="#80CCA78B" stroke-width="0.35" />
    <lineSymbol src="path_to_cliff_png"  dx="0" repeat="true"  repeat-gap="0dp"  scale-icon-size="15,1.2" />
</rule>

Texty
Presto muze obcas zlobit a z toho duvodu nektere texty nejsou rendrovany ac by mely byt.

Vojensky ujezd
Musim podekovat za upozorneni i v internich stylech nam toto vykreslovani vojen. oblasti zlobilo. Pripravil jsem novou verzi i s novym vzorem pro vojenske oblasti. Styl pro inspiraci v priloze

uff... it took me more than hour then I found out what's causes this strange behavior.  It's simple - the reason it's me. In my script for converting hiking/cycling relations is very ugly workaround how to display more ref over one way. Let's say that one way is used in two cycle relations.  Then converted tags in Locus map looks like:
relation A: ref="4178"
relation B: ref="      4181"
Please note the gap before the 4181. It's ugly but working solution how to print two or more ref as pathtext. So in your case the wrong captions looks like ref="          MDW" and the text is shifted because the gaps.  Unfortunately in your case are the gaps multiplied because the relation is part of parent superroute.

Anyway the question is how to solve it? I can remove my stupid white gaps but on the other hand I'd like preserve possibility to print more than one ref over the way....

@john_percy Thank you - fixed

Maybe another solutions:
- copy file world.map to different folder eq. Locus/mapsVector/MyWorld
- use special theme for this map (in attachment)
On  the other hand you lost the hypsometry information

Hi,
I'm sorry, but we decided not to implement this feature at this moment. Menion is quite busy in these days ... so maybe later

@Eric,
I've quickly check the "PADUS" layer and it seems that data are available till zoom-level=13. Am I right or are there any data for more detailed zoom-levels? Zoom-layers 0-15 can be add into Locus via provider.xml as menion already mentioned.

Maps / Re: Japan GSI Maps support

@jusc
"Remove" means that official release will not contain mentioned maps. These maps will not be in the list of GSI Map. However they can be added to the Locus via provider.xml as ta-ka wrote.

@ta-ka
Thank you for information about 2012 * map. I didn't understood correctly the translation of doc page http://portal.cyberjapan.jp/help/development.html#std

Standard Map
So what about to add only one Standard map? At this moment we would add Standard 2012 and when new service will be completed - we we'd change the source to new service.  The name of map in Locus will be the same - "Standard Map".

Combination of satellite maps –
I agree and I'll  discuss technical questions with menion

English map
Yep it seems that the max zoom=level is extended till level 11. Now is map quite detailed and from my opinion should be add into Locus.

Maps / Japan GSI Maps support
November 14, 2013, 08:22:45
Hi,
menion already mentioned it but I also have to say THANK YOU ta-ka for help with GSI maps. It's unbelievable how you helped us. Really outstanding! Ohh... I don't want to make angry the rest of you so thank you to everybody for your help with improving of Locus :)
Latest test version contains new GSI maps and we appreciate every idea which map should be in official release. There are some layers that aren't so important. For example two standard maps: "2012 Standard map" and "Standard map".  "2012 Standard map" looks better for levels 16-18 then "Standard Map" but levels 13-14 seems worse.  "Less is more" and for this reason I don't want to add all layers into official release.  I'd like to:
- Leave one of the Standard map (or mix them together)
- Remove Relief, blank map, Brown and green Shading
- Combine MapQuest satellite maps (for levels 0-15/16) with GSI orthophoto maps, because GSI ortophoto starts in zoom-levels 15/16
- Still not sure if we need all Ortophoto maps?

Hoverwer is it possible to say which map is the best for hiking, cycling – what about to combine Pale colour map with monotone shading?

Thank you for suggestions

I see that you found the way :)  However we'll try to negotiate some terms with accuterra (neotreks) if would be possible to offer their maps in Locus.

... Now, if I can just figure out how to make the house numbers visible again.... lol. (I upgraded to the paid version and they disappeared.)
It depends ...which map do you use?
