Simply tap on track, tap on it's style, tap ok, close screen by back. Or if you use style of folder, just change style of this folder to reset overviews of all tracks that has "Use style of folder" enabled

@balloni: previews are generated from vector maps, so if you have track on place where do not exists vector map, this may be the reason. Or Locus is not able to find correct vector map (second possibility)

sorry, i don´t think so all my track are inside germany and i use Vectormap from locus store.

I played a little and suspect, depending of my former "map display problem":
at first opening of a track it was displayed without map in preview and this info is cached.

If i  open a "new" track with "? in preview" first time, locus display track and map preview well

How can i refrech this data?" Clear temp data" and new start of device doesn´t solve this.

in track preview map preview is only displayed with few tracks, this behavior was also by further versions

if i click the base color field locus stops

- log is send

- the following behavior i noticed during last 2 beta updates.
On first 2-5 start after update "date format" is changed than it is ok



- Track is not centered on map if:
for preparation move map out of used track area
step 1  open "track detail" with clickable area
step 2  go back to trackfolder
step 3  click on clickable area "view track on map"

in all other cases the map is centered

wenn man die xml aus dem Download nimmt klappt es auch mit Googlesatellit

Addon "locus-satellite images"
it s only possible to download satimages for geocache listing coords, or corrected coords (e.g. Mystery).
So option (also in pro) "Download Satellitenkarten" make no sense in waypoints and normal POI´s

Locus ist ein sehr umfangreiches App, bei dem man zumindest am Anfang Zeit braucht.

das meiste leider nur in englisch, bringt Dich bestimmt weiter!
Was für Dich als Locusneuling aber das Beste ist, ist die Tatsache, dass dieses Forum lebt und Dir schnell geholfen wird!
Um Dir zu helfen solltest Du die jeweilige Frage klar definieren.

Bisher habe ich ein Garmin Oregon 450 genutzt.

da gehe ich mal davon aus dass Du Geocaching betreibst

weil man damit auch auf Satelittenbilder von google umschalten können sol

diese Frage/Aussage beinhaltet jetzt schon 3 Lösungsansätze
- Locus kann zum einen Offlinerasterkarten z.B. Google Satellit anzeigen, welche Du z.B. mit MOBAC erstellt hast.

Bildkacheln um einen Geocache herum online runterladen
- mit dem Addon Maptweak für Onlinekarten kenne ich mich leider nicht aus, aber da meldet sich aber bestimmt jemand der sich auskennt.

Locus selbst bietet Vectorkarten zum Download im "Store" an: Menue/Store/......
und z.Zt. sind die ersten 3 Kartendownloads bis  jeweils 1GB kostenlos

About color of grey parts - usually on a map is already visible track, so this grey track should just overlay over existing track. They also should not too much visible, becuase interestings are only blue, red, green segments. Isn't it?

OK understand, another idea: delete the grey overlay so the track is displayed in color user has selected 
and display only red, blue ,green laps as overlay.

Locus don't support log "temporary disable listing" and "update coordinate"

one more offset problem with LAPS:
if i click on the first lap "show on map", the second is blue displayed and so on and if i click on the last lap locus stop!

Red, green and blue lap parts are good to see on map, but the grey are difficult to see on map, so please change this color

I expected problems with map, so please create for me some log. This version print out really lot of information right because of this your issue ... thanks

additional idea for  track handling:
- display in yellow area direction arrow and distance to trackstart
- with click in purple area open "trackdetail"
- with click in green area track is displayed centered on mapview



Direction arrows in "POI folder" allways displayed (device) northup
Direction arrows im "POI detail" are displayed in real direction
it would be a benefit  the direction arrow always point to the real direction!

good news:
- mapcursor is visible with maprotate
- distance marks on laps are on  right position

bad news:
- autozoom same behavior, additional i found out that this also happen without "guide on" only while moving with centered mapview.
- no map visible in "map preview" POI and track
- after open a track map is not visible , i have to zoom

Trackinfo, some values are partly conceled. Imported tracks display wrong values (e.g. speed) if so it would be better to ignore it

if i activate "rotate map" the mapcursor is not visible, with map "north" up  the mapcursor is displayed.
