manchmal werde ich als Owner von Cachesuchern per Telefon oder auch direkt gefragt:
- kannst Du diese Wegpunktkoordinate des Multies bestätigen ?
- stimmen die errechneten Finalkoordinaten des Mysteries ?
sofern ich eine Internet Zugriffmöglichkeit habe, ist die Beantwortung mit etwas Aufwand möglich.
Beim importieren eigener Caches per PQ oder GC4L  werden leider nur sichtbaren Koordinaten angezeigt. 
Wenn man aber von den eigenen Caches einzeln  die "GPX Datei" von GS runterlädt und in Locus importiert werden alle Koordinaten angezeigt
Somit hat man als Owner jederzeit offline Zugriff auf die gewünschten Koordinaten

Photos in "Listing-Tab" and "Image-Tab" are scaled on device screen, can be zoomed and scrolled
But if a photo is insert in cachelisting under

Code Select Expand

ctl00_ContentBody_ShortDescription
and visible in "Basic Info" tab
it is only partial displayed and i can not zoom or scroll it

i found a little problem in "Add new waypoint, 3-dot button"
Open a multicache with min. 3 waypoints and first wpt in wpt-list has other coords as the cache itself
Now try to make a projection from this first wpt of wpt-list (second in visible selecting-list)
You will see that the coords in projection window are the same as cache coords, although this wpt has other coords in wpt-list.
So it not possible to make a projection from first wpt, unless this wpt has same coords as the cache.
I hope my discription is understandable, otherwise see e.g. GC40JFY

today i walked on a multicache with 21 wpt´s. I collect the infos for each waypoint and edit the needed info to wpt-discription and saved it for later calculation.
In the middle of the tour i cant find one info and so i made a "online update" of this geocache in hope to get new infos. Fortunately i get  infos from new logs, and was able to move on to the last wpt.
Now i noticed that all infos i had stored in discription field of first 8 wpts before updating are lost

the old thread (http://forum.locusmap.eu/index.php?topic=3267.0) is closed,
so i start a new one

- the displayed iconsize of automatic loaded db-POI`s is very small, size should be equal POI´s or geocaches.
- why are icon size and presentation of automatic loaded db-POI`s  different to e.g. loadet POI`s arround?

From my point of view db-POI`s should always be displayed in version "points arround", optic and size fit much better (second screenshot)

i use a online topomap with  online overlay "hiketrials"

My question, how can i built a custom online map with two url´s inside the same "provider id"
to display both without extra overlay?

i like TOPO maps, but my favorit map is only available in ZL 14-17
To get a better overview its better to have a map with lower zoomlevels, so i have searched for a solution.....
with little modification of zoomlevel range in .xml and useing one map as overlay it is possible to use both maps at once

if i use a openair.txt in mapitems, not all available Sectors are displayed in locus,
DY info is missing (last two parts in attached .txt)

If Sector labels are at the same position they are unreadable, if i understand right its possible to move label,
but i found no reaction in locus

Ich habe eine .png mit Flurstücksgrenzen, diese kann ich mit "Mapc2Mapc" kalibrieren, in eine .sqlite wandeln und als  Overlaykarte in Locus darstellen
Je weiter ich aber in die Karte reinzoome werden die Grundstückslinien unscharf, der Grund dafür ist mir bekannt.

Meine Überlegung geht nun dahin diese .png in eine .svg oder .pdf umzuwandeln (das schaffe ich  )  dann zu kalibrieren und in eine "Vektormap" umzuwandeln
Geht das und wenn ja wie ?

after late restart of trackrecording i was searching a geocache collecting needless trackpoints without pausing.

Now my task is:
1. delete needless trackpoints from track
2. close the gap on the track

1. deleting e.g. 30 trackpoints is awkward, a "cut option", or a "delete from/to" would be helpfull
2. The way to close the gap with "insert new point" is illogical! i begin editing on last point of first leg and the added point is connected to start point of second leg see video

früher hatte ich bei meinen Rastermaps die Zoomeinstellung mit dem Schloss-Icon rechts unten so eingestellt, dass bei erreichen des höchsten Zoomlevels der + Button ausgegraut war und die Karte nicht mehr weiter "vergrößert" wurde.
Heute klappt das bei mir so nicht mehr, ich kann vergrößern und alles wird nur unscharf,hat sich das geändert?
Wo kann man dieses Verhalten sonst noch beeinflussen?

in den letzten Tagen beobachte ich weniger und schlechtere Satelliteninfos als gewohnt.
Normalerweise empfange ich unter freiem Himmel 10-12 Sats, wovon 8-10 gefixt sind.
Hab heute mal das SGS2 bei strahlend blauem Himmel 1 Stunde bei freier Rundumsicht liegen lassen, das Ergebniss sind 6-7 gefixte Satelliten bei mäßigem Pegel!




Macht Ihr ähnliche Beobachtungen?
Hängt vermutlich mit den derzeitigen Sonnenstürmen zusammen, Meldung vom 12.9.2014

Problem: if i use "Download satellite maps" i get this satimages in image tab of this cache, but the images of the cache are not displayed anymore,  althaugh they are in Locus/data/geocaching/.... available
If i click "update cache" the cache images are visible and the satimages are gone??
How is it possible to see both images in imagetab?

Hallo,
welche Funktion erwartet ihr bei Betätigung dieses Buttons?

Nach meinem Verständnis erreicht man nach Betätigung dieses Buttons die "Startseite"
z.B. im Browser IE oder FF gelangt man, egal wieviele Fenster/Taps man geöffnet hat auf die Startseite.

In Locus ist für mich die Startseite die Kartenansicht, da sich diese nach dem Einschalten des Gerätes zeigt.

In Locus ist das aber anders nach klick auf den Button gelangt man eine Ebene zurück, also die selbe Funktion wie bei Betätigung der "Zurücktaste" am Gerät.
Beispiel: Menue/Einstellungen/Anzeige, nach klick auf den "home button" lande ich bei den Einstellungen und nicht in der Kartenansicht
Das Verhalten ist, soweit ich das festgestellt habe durchgänig, also auch beim Datenordner oder geöffneten Geocachewegpunkten.
Bin gespannt wie Ihr das seht!

if new geocache is published in my homezone i get a notifications mail
I click on GC-link in mail and set "import to locus" as default - the default value is stored in GC4L
On the other hand i want to open a cachelisting in browser with click on "GC-link" in geocache tab or "webpage", for example to see hidden WPTS or to bookmark this cache.
Only if i do that, always open the import window and not the browser , i understand it is set as default
Do you see a solution to differentiate, open GC-link "out of locus" with locus / "inside locus" with browser?

bei klick auf "Webseite" oder den GC-Link in der geöffneten Cachebeschreibung (Test und PRO) öffnet sich bei mir immer das Importfenster
ich hätte eigentlich erwartet, dass sich die Cache-webseite im Browser öffnet um ev. versteckte Wegpunkte anschauen zu können.
Mach ich was falsch (Einstellung?) oder bin ich total auf dem Holzweg?

i open a geocache and select one, more or all waipoints, the additional waypoints are displayed on map.
After that i deselect all waypoints, the additional waypoints disapeare on map.
Now i close locus and reopen it, at that moment the additional waypoints are displayed again
With long click on "data" and "remove temporary map items" i can solve it for the moment.
This behavior is in pro and test version.

If i export POI/TrackPOI and import it again .jpg, .txt,.mp3 furtermore work well
- avi-player open with message "cannot play video"
- pdf-viewer open for a short time and close
