Layers for Clouds, Precipitation, Rain and Snow.

Unpack the xml in the zip to locus/mapsOnline/custom. Close Locus, Reopen Locus, you will have "OpenWeatherMap" entries.
To get actual tiles you should set the "valid for" for the layers in the maps selector.

Is this problem with the corners of cycle routes fixable?

Quote from: "pmoravec"Edit: OK, something called "Screen ON" //https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brilliant.apps.screenon looks promising for this task, at least it works this way on my phone and is free and not add-supported.

Another way could be to wake the device with the proximity sensor. https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... toscreenon works fine for me and let the screen goes off. You can set single or double touch.

Dont know how much drain the wakelock for the sensor do.

with issues I meant my version. I used 24px icons for the peak/vulcan and that was little too big.

v2: smaller peak icons (12px) and made the wood patterns more transparent: http://www.brotbuexe.de/stuff/Volatile_ ... ons_v2.zip

Quote from: "menion"and about "Hike&Bike Hillshade" ... only one Hike&Bike is in Locus overlays, so It's probably any of your custom maps?

Yes it was in the backup.xml.

Thanks for your good themes.

What I still miss is a theme that looks good on highres smartphones like the galaxy note.
I know we have "resolution of maps", but this just multiples all the pixels.
And the text size setting is only for Texts.

We need a theme that does not show that much stuff on the same zoom levels it does show on normal res phones.
And the ways etc should be bigger on that zoom levels.

I could help with searching the correct icons from http://www.sjjb.co.uk/mapicons and http://mapicons.nicolasmollet.com/categ ... portation/, but the xml stuff is a little bit too complicated for me.

I don't know if it is possible to "convert" existing themes with some search and replace...

Hope some of the theme gurus could make one.

Wishlist / Re: Object filter for vector maps

If this project includes own icons, it would be nice to have a selection for the icons.
Colors and sizes for example.
http://www.sjjb.co.uk/mapicons/contactsheet
http://mapicons.nicolasmollet.com

SVG with custom size and colorchange directly inside locus would be killerfeature. :)

Sorry, this time in german...

access-destination.png
access-private.png
cemetery.png
cliff.png
military.png
nature-reserve.png
oneway.png
railway-crossing-small.png
railway-crossing.png
tree.png
glacier.png

http://www.brotbuexe.de/stuff/Volatile_changedicons.zip extract over the existing set.

Screenshot:

[attachment=0:15joat0o]Screenshot_2013-05-05-19-59-01.png[/attachment:15joat0o]

first issues: peak icon is a little big, and the woods should be just a little more transparent.

nice.

on http://www.sjjb.co.uk/mapicons/contactsheet#barrier there are some good looking icons.

#44
If you want exported gpx tracks (cycling, hiking, etc.) for some area, just reply, I try to export them for you (if the osm file for the area isn't too big for the script).

On http://www.brotbuexe.de/stuff/radroutengpx/ you can find the cycling routes from the german states (ISO Codes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-2:DE). Data is from geofabrik from 04.05.2013.

By the way, this website is just great.
Not only on Desktop.
You have to try it on smartphone!

http://hiking.waymarkedtrails.org
http://cycling.waymarkedtrails.org
http://mtb.waymarkedtrails.org
http://skating.waymarkedtrails.org

You can use the location feature of your smartphone to jump directly to your current position.
It shows you the routes in the area.

You can configure the layers:

You have a search for routes and POIs.

For some routes it shows you the evelation profile

It shows you website links that are in the metadata of the routes. It knows nested relations.

And you can directly export the gpx from the routes window and import it in locus.
All this is usable on the desktop too...
