Whether the icon is round or rectangle I have no preference. That's menions pigeon!

I think the actual icon is very good for different types of data and a good reference to former periods. It fulfills all the functions.

Wishlist / Re: PQs

Very nice idea with selecting more than one pq from list and import them. With automatic assignment to category, adjusted by user, it could be more comfortable and maybe the entire process could be automatic in some ways.

I definitely like the "More" over the "Modules" approach - it is the way non-IT-users understand Apps (I personally can live with both easily). To walk this way further I propose (like some others) to drop the "Data" layer of menues - this again is a pure technical category (as you store these infos in databases).
In your philosophy of "More", the "Tracks" and "POI" (the own ones, not the new DBs) are simply two items they want to deal with. What do you think ?

The way I could select own POIs, Tracks and elements with one button is OK for me. But sometimes I miss a button in POI details direct to corresponding category in POI-db or even better when I'm touching a POI sign in map screen I could select category or detail.

Btw. it could be very comfortable when details pop up without window between.  All functions could concentrate in one window.

+1
But in a given range. Buttons shouldn't be too small.

@KaHeMu: hmm your tablet is really very very weird. Aren't you using there some special custom ROM?? Because it act completely weird. In case of track, btw. thank you for logs (very helpful), problem is that your tablets try to draw track with enabled "hardware acceleration" which is disabled for map screen. And it's disable by me in code and it have to work! So I have absolutely no idea why this happen, but something has to change in your device, I'm on 99% percent sure

Hi menion,

the device is in the same state I bought it except added external 16GB sdcard. And some pieces of software of course. ;D

@KaHeMu: your device works quite weirdly with tabs, but who know how much devices will work in this way, so I rather changed background of tabs to dark color in all cases (as big google itself suggest). I spend on it few hours but seems that there is no better solution
---------------
and probably last public test version to test. I've finally decided to make a release in monday, so there is time for last test and improvements. In next week, I'll finally start work on navigation/guiding stuff again.
The background color seems to be the same as before BUT texts are very well in last version. Many thanks for your excellent work, the found solution is the very best!

@KaHeMu: it will be worst ...
- I'm unable to reproduce problem with track. If you after rotate zoom in/out, is track again visible? If so, are you able to create a log for me, because there have to be any error on background
My device is Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Android 4.0.3 portrait mode, incorrect color only in portrait mode.
Now I have to look for help with creating a log. ???

Sorry for selfquoting!
Locus created 2 log files, both are empty.

Oh yes, tracks are created at zoom level 16 or 17. If I zoom out to level 13 or 14 tracks appears. I never did so before. :(  But if zooming in tracks are disappearing again!

- tab colors ... I need to know your device, android version, screen orientation. Is there incorrect color in landscape and portrait or just one of them?

quite a lot of issues, damn. Thanks, all should be fixed, except
@KaHeMu: if you'll have a while, may you please check color of tabs? It will be worst, but I hope it will be fine
Ok, so this is probably last version before release. I'm really looking forward to make it done, so I can again start work on any usable topics, like "guiding along track" etc ;)
thanks all for help btw. Without you all, it won't be possible to do this all ... thanks
Hi menion,
the color of text in tabs at tablet is worse then before. Only at the moment the tab is pressed you can see the highlighted text under your finger. At Xperia phone same situation is ok, the tabs aren't in the menu line.
Nowadays I'm planning a hike trip through Italy with creating tracks with routing function. This is a awesome feature of Locus! :) And often I have to use the device in portrait mode.

Btw. there is another bug with portrait mode:
Selected tracks aren't visible. (see pictures)

edit:
Just tested:
Tracks created in portrait mode are visible in both views. That's weird!

edit:
This is correct only up to a length from about 5.7 km!!
If tracks are longer they disappeared but the turn-over points to be left.

Hi menion,

thank you for fixing issue with filter in POI manager.
But there's another strange thing with POI manager (only at tablet) I saw this morning:
The texts in menu are white in landscape mode and dark grey in portrait mode. Dark grey isn't readable!

Hi menion,
the step back to the POI list from the detail window is very good. The new look with the menus we have to learn, for me the former one was more clear.
