Hi. I checked this on my wife's Motorola One with Android 10. Apparenttly Locus does not support this option. So I guess your only way out is to switch off all optimisation when recording with Locus and only activate optimisation in average daily (office) use.

Now since I was allready looking at this G9 Power, I have to ask: are you really afraid it won't last long enough because it really has this big 6000 mAh battery.
And sorry for offtopic, but do you own a European model and does it have a compass (since the specs do not mention this)?

Geht aber doch. Schau mal unter Einstellungen/Steuerung/Kartenansicht. Vielleicht sind deine Voreinstellungen in Eimer..

Only hiking style for now and no translation?

An old? problem seems to be back.
It's about track style and color.
Style on map for this track is set to be "Folder" but that is partly ignored when navigating reversely. We use arrows pattern 3 and they are reversed but the color of the "folder" is not applied.
It works ok when navigating in original direction (so using complete folder style).

To make it even more complicated this happens on my wife's android 10 phone but I can not simulate it on my Android 7 with the same track and settings.

Faster indeed and (to my positive surprise) Locus shuts down correctly again by back button. Also with active guiding or navigation it works correct now. (With active navigation you get the standard alert).

Info: with the 3.48 versions Locus stayed active with visible gps symbol and I had to swipe it away in the last used apps screen to really stop it. This happened on my Android 7 and on my wife's Android 10.

So, allthough this is not mentioned in the "change/fix" list, this is a good thing.

Will there be a 3.49.xx topic? I really like to read about the changes before installing/updating/  or am I the only one who does not do automatic updates. Espescially never before a hiking holiday!

You can see the other persons history, if he/she moves and if he/she has an update interval of less than 10  minutes.

3.48.0  "Mostly bug fixes and mimor improvements". I got it offered through the Play-store. Is this one really for regular users, since there is no announcement in this forum or on the helpdesk?

For me the beeps sometimes come before the guidance calculation is finished at the startup of the guidance. I see Locus then searching for the nearest point.

In 3.47.2 with backups on my external SD-card and Locus completely in internal memory, deleting a backup-zip-file does not work.
I go to "Restore" and tap the three dots and choose delete, but the file is still there.
Minor problem, only used for extra temporarily settings backups.
Android 7.

Touch and HOLD the lower left centering button. You can choose there GOS meaning the map will go to GPS position in 5 seconds automatically. Also to be found in settings, see manual , controlling the map: https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_mainscr_ctrl.

Don't go hiking with a flipcase. It will impact your compass reading.

Thank you again Killer BG. After three full days of hiking I never switched back. And after one day my wife asked me to install your theme on her motorola one also.
We both love the contrast on sunny days and the more pronounced differences between say woods, heath and farmland.

Today (again) being on a round track I lost my active guiding. It has happened to both of us on two different phones before. Both on 3.46.2  I cannot simulate it, happens seldom.
But: Restarting the guiding (along a track) it would not do that properly, see screenshot.
I was less then one-third from the finish and Locus went to the nearest point on a new lap.
Hitting nearest poimt or closest point did not help.
Starting guiding from the track list did not help.
Starting navigation with the proper profile did work (but I prefer guiding).
