Quote: What should be for you these five features from points and five features for tracks.

If you promise not to do away with the present point/trackpoint info that appears when I hover (with the red cross) over the point/trackpoint, I prefer my most used ones for both:
1. Guiding on
2. Guiding on reverse
3. Navigate to
4. Fill height
5. For tracks only: track info

Yeah, Menion , you helped me out in this one also, some time ago.
In Android Settings every (text) line is clickable and even then I had problems in the beginning.
On the Locus Guiding menu all the sliders and the tick box do not steer you to clicking on the text. Maybe if the clickable text was blue (color) like on a good webpage (or Locus forum) and the non clickable was black. (My choices are blue now so they have to switch color to red or anything).

Ja, denke ich schon. Innerhalb die 11 genutzte sind sechs rechteckige Symbole, nummer hoher als 32.

@ togtog: Motorola Moto G nutzt auch Glonass Satelliten und Locus auch.

Does your phone have a "magnetic" kompass? Otherwise the map will only rotate in the proper direction if your speed is above the "setting" of 1 meter/sec is 3,6 km/h.

(Ps it is always handy to state your phone's make and model in your profile).

Maybe one way around it is to make a new google account. I have 2, the one with Drive, Picaso and other personal things is only known by Freinds and Family.
Thanks for the tip, but no. Going "double " on my laptop and my phone is not the idea for me. The Google integration between phone and computer is great for me. The extra hassle of switching between one more email account is not going to happen; too accident prone.

Troubles & Questions / Track import problem
April 28, 2014, 12:51:11
I found some nice tracks for our new hike but when importing them I have some problems:
1. I import one file but the result is two files/tracks
2. The resluting filename(s) get an addition; I prefer the exact original filename.
3. In this example I get 155 meaningsless points (in a points directory), cluttering my map screen

What I normally do is download the wanted track into my Locus "Export" directory and then start Locus and do the import.

Is this the result of faults in the original file or can Locus do a better job?

Not only "personal problems with Google+ "  I have about 50 photo albums on Picasa with many links from my website and joining Google+ screws this up . I had that once allready. Too much work. And G+ makes the photo's too big so unusable for me.

Ok, I am and this baby is great!!
Display is good; ever tried to check your screen when skiing in the sun? On max brightness you still can use the Moto G.
Battery life is awesome. 6 hours track recording took less than 30%.
GPS fix is really fast, seconds only. Precision is good and Glonass too.
Compass is good (after calibrating).

And offcourse Locus is fast on it. Startup 5 seconds; good screen needs more zoom because of more pixels. Now ususally zoomlevel 18 or 19. No lag no problems.

@balloni: With ES file explorer 3.1.0.2 no success.  "Backup failed". Also sending it to Drive failed.
I can backup all other apps (as I could with Easy Backup and with App Backup and Restore). So ??

Edit 27 feb: I am working on it with PM help from Balloni. Maybe its my new MotoG but still, Locus is the only App I cannot do an APK backup for. Locus shows a lock symbol next to the icon in some backup applications.

Before upgrading I allways make sure that I have a backup (of the .apk) of my present version (the version that I am totally content with). I do that for every APP I use.

Oh, Oh, I cannot do that on 2.18 anymore.
Why? And is there a workaround?

Because: it is quite imposible for me to test everything in Locus and when during active use, I discover a problem, I could then easily revert to my previous, perfect version (without internet connection at hand or whatever).

Gynta, I saw the clip, even before my last answer but I still do not know if this is about
* selected items (points and/or tracks)
* temp items (points or recorded tracks or tracks or whatever)

so I do not know what to vote for :)
