At voting: should it be possible to make me change my vote?
In the browser (chrome on my mobile), I was only able to click once on the rating stars. What, if it was a mistake?

What is the best way to temporarily disable display of Offline POI?
- select an other DB (from an other country as the currently selected Vectormap)
- quit locus and rename the DB used for currently selected Vectormap
- add an entry to the DB selector "No Offline POI database"-> Menion? ;-)

Ok, Opera I don't use any more (used it on Motorola Defy+), but download also works correct with Chrome on mobile (Sony Xperia V). Import in Locus works.

you downloaded the files with your mobile stock browser, right?
Try an other browser like Opera Mobile and you will get correct file formats.

Hat das Xperia Go auch zwei Speicherorte: sdcard0 (interner Speicher) und sdcard1 (die richtige MicroSD)? Liegt evtl. da der Hund begraben (wenn am falschen Speicherort gesucht wird)?

Because maybe it's not a bug of locus but a bug in S3?

After googling arround in forums I found several posts with gps fix problems. It seems to be dependent on the gps chipset in your device(s) if it can handle the high speed of an airplane (that would explain the display of many satelites without a fix).

Back home again from holiday in bavarian areas with suboptimal mobile network access. I was happy to have a backup of Locus testing version 2.13.1.7 which let me look in Offline-POIs for tourism attractions, supermarkets and public toilets for my family ;-)  So thank you for this great comming feature, I can't wait to get the official version.

I have tried to find a setting for it in the new POI handling and in the manual, but didn't find something about it:
Everytime I create a category the default sorting for it is alphabetical. I create temporary categories for geocaching if I'm visiting a certain area and it is a bit anoying to always remember to change to sorting by distance.
Could there be a config to set the default sorting of POIs?

Germany works. It's not the fastest but the handling takes not much more time than searching in Google places. Maybe next step will be to show several points on map by selecting (first 50 or 100 ...) or convert to regular POIs to show? I will love this features if beeing abroad!

... wegen dem Ausblenden: Es hält so lange, bis der nächste Importprozess es wieder anzeigen lässt (Importierte Geocaches nach Import anzeigen), denn es gibt keine "Erinnerungsfunktion" für Ein/Ausblenden. Abhilfe wäre beim Import die Checkbox zu deaktivieren. Dann allerdings werden alle importierten Geocaches nicht angezeigt.

Die Fieldnote dient nur dazu, daheim am Rechner (wo der Browser etwas komfortabler zu bedienen ist), den betreffenden Geocache auf die Ignorierliste zu setzen. Rechts oben "Listing ignorieren". Danach kann die Fieldnote wieder gelöscht werden (oder es war ein Log als Didn't find?!).

In den Einstellungen für Pocketqueries (z.B. für die Homezone) lässt sich eine Checkbox setzen, in der ignorierte Caches ausgeschlossen werden können. So kommt dann keiner davon mehr in die normale Kategorie.

c) hmm...wie erzeuge ich denn diese Ignorierte Cache-Query?

Sobald Du mindestens einen Cache auf Deiner Ignorierliste (bei GC) hast, kannst Du in der Listenverwaltung diese Liste als PQ erstellen - fertig.

Du kannst solche Caches auch (etwa in dieser Vorgehensreihenfolge)...

a) in eine "Ignorier-Kategorie" in Locus verschieben,

b) anschliessend (anhand einer Fieldnote, die nicht zu einem Log wird oder direkt online bei GC) auf die GC-Ignore-Liste nehmen (und bei zukünftigen Queries die Ignorierten nicht mit einbeziehen lassen!)

c) und auch immer wieder mal eine extra Pocketquerry mit ignorierten Caches erstellen lassen (evtl. gibt es ja mal ein Log, welches neues Licht auf einen Cache wirft). Die importierst Du natürlich in die Ignorier-Kategorie.
