Hi Menion,
Thanks.
I am doing exactly that, dreaming for something "smarter".
To improve this usecase, I would love having :
- max distance filter but for tracks 😊 (make visible lots of tracks quickly)

- search option "in visible tracks only"

Hi,
I would like to search activities passing at a certain mountain peak (first point = map center) (for this I am searching in my library and sorting by nearest), but select only those with a starting point (second point) elsewhere on the map.

Combining your idea (sort by distance from start) and mine (make visible activities sorted from distance to map point) would work, if I could search and sort only into visible activities. Which I can't find any way to do it 🤔

We can find easily all activities passing near a point (search and sort by distance).
But is it possible to filter/select/display only those starting from a certain second point? 🤔

You can display a line (always) between your position and screen cursor and decide which value to indicate, like distance.

About times, can't find again the post, but total_elapsed_time (from start to end including pauses) is at least computed during fit file export.

share a problematic route with me over "Share by link". Thank you.

Sure. Here's one that cannot be opened in the app: https://link.locusmap.app/t/1s9v2t

This one does not open in the online planner either.

This link is working for me, both in app (latest beta) and in Web planner.

Quote from: Tapio on March 28, 2026, 08:39:55b) Add (embedded) waypoint to track- on that screen. This would make preparation (also postprocess) of tracks much easier - too exhausting atm. Both types of WP, embedded and non-embedded. But embedded more important as we are in a track context.
I've been hoping for an "Add waypoint" option in the track editor for ages - not sure if we want the same thing, but perhaps both go together. I know, it's possible to add waypoints to a track, but they're not timestamped, they're more POIs. For example, "Hut" is a feature of the landscape and not really related to the track, but "Put on snowhoes here" is related to the specific track and thus the timestamps is relevant.

@slarti76

What about opening your track in the Route Planner (not in Track Editor).
Then you can click on any point,

change it into a Via Point,

do not recalculate, save as new track, and you have a time stamped WP embedded in your track.

Installed latest beta, thanks for the great job.
When one track is selected, it was "yellow" before, and now it is same color but with a white band. Is there a setting for this, please?

About best interval, in fact, i didn't understand really this feature (in Locus :) )
To me, the best interval (for example the best 1km) should be the best "moving interval", meaning the best kilometer (faster for example) over the entire activity.
But Locus is "just" splitting the activity into interval (1km for example) and then highlight the best and worth of those splits.
This is same activity split and best interval from Locus : fastest = 6km to 7km = 8:08

, while the real best kilometer is 7:09, between 6km51 and 7km51

@Tapio
For android
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.duong.imagedatefixer
And/or
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.duong.picturemanager

My current photo work flow is :
Take photos with my smartphone but without localisation.
Modifiy them if needed, then export gpx of my activities, and use second app to geotag my pictures thanks to gpx timestamps vs exif taken one.
And cherry on the cake, file modification date is setup again to exif taken date.
Lots of possibilities.

If you post in the helpdesk, please warn here, I will vote 👍

Thanks, I tested it, and tts customized file is also exporting navigation WP names customized 👍👍

@Menion,
Already tested and voice navigation instructions are correctly modified according to tts file, but not the gpx point names.
I have been answered on the helpdesk that gpx instructions names are translated with the crowdin project. Thus I tried "modding" the values-fr and it is working. But not sustainable 😭.

Check these docs please. It should help with the customisation of navigation texts.

Thanks, but I already got the idea about tts, but I would like to customize gpx export and not tts speech instructions. 😉
I opened same question on helpdesk.
