  we have already on paper completely new system for Locus Store, so I'm not sure if I not forget on this. Expected time of release will be anyway somewhere in future, let's say Q3/2013.

Anyway about your credit ... first is correct. Download should not start and notify you that you don't have enough credit

EDIT: who knows when will be ready new version and because this makes absolutely sense, I added current "credit" to download screen now

Sorry for the question - but so far I have not installed a test version of locus yet.

I have the pro version but this version says it is the free version and not installed yet on my phone.

Makes it sense to install it on parallel of my prep version?

Do I mess up anything?

have you seen my last note?

After a reboot I am getting a new locus folder on my internal memory card. It is completely empty but on the next start of locus I get the warning that 2 folders are existing.

Could this have something to do with the automatic saving feature?

  most information you may find on documentation of KML format here https://developers.google.com/kml/docum ... undoverlay

  anyway coordinates used in KML are spherical WGS coordinates usually used by GPS system. So common -90S - +90N, -180E, +180W

EDIT: and also suggest to check your file in Google Earth. I never said that Locus is without mistakes

From the Vermessungsbüro which has done it for me to get a top view photo from my property which is not complicated in Austria keyword is "Hofkarte"

The locus folder on my external card is definitely larger in size because there are all my vector maps stored.
In case you detect more than one locus folder maybe you can pre select and advice a location but let the user make the final choice.

I just realized that after a reboot a new but empty locus folder is created in the internal memory card
I am on 2.9.1

what type of coordinate system I have to use to import a - let's say a kmz file - into locus and see it.

The reason is that I got a kmz file with the borders of my ground but after the import into locus I see it in the very west of Canada and not in Austria...

it would be nice to see the remaining download volume for the vector maps in the download manager and not only in the locus store.

Another question is what will happen if I have -let's say - 100MByte left but started a map download of 102 MByte?

- will the download start?
- will it finish the total 102 MByte?
- or will it stop at 100 MByte because I am running out of my volume?

Edit:
1st I renamed the folder on the internal card - just to be sure... ;-)
Locus was starting and using the folder on the external card - all was fine

2nd I than deleted the locus folder on the internal card

I think all is good now

Updated to 2.9.1
Just realized that I have now 2 locus folders
1 on internal memory card
1 on my external sd card

Not sure whether this was done by 2.9.0

Locus is saying at startup that there are 2 main folders and is selecting the new one on the internal memory card which is not the right one.

Question:
- Is it save to delete the complete locus folder on the internal card?

-  could I change the selection of locus to use which folder somewhere in the setting?

Edit: Maybe I should mention that I updated to 2.9.0 from 2.8.7 and have used locus just this evening after the update but I do not know whether this has something to do with my problem

somehow I messed up with the vector maps folder settings.

I have added the folder
.../Locus/mapsVector/
manually again to the folder list, but now if I go to the vector map download  manager locus does not recognize my maps which I have already donwloaded.

Is there  a way that I can get back the default setting and also to do something like a folder scan to get back my previous status?

backup whole Locus directory!
copy whole Locus directory except "cache" to new phone
install & start - should work without problems

is there already a guideline to move locus to a new phone?

Which directories I need to copy from the old to the new phone to keep my data?

I have identified so far:

- mapsVector
- data

but not sure whether I should copy everything what is inside "data"

I was asking this question in the past already but I am not sure whether there is a function in the meantime.

My problem is that if I am changing the map that the 1st location is the previous old one and that could be way off.

For example I was flying to Canada and want check my destination in the plane but get only the previous coordinates and therefore a white map

So I would like to have a button that I could jump to the centre of a new loaded map
