Guys what does this mean?

"T: Subs items are empty. Reason?"

Seems I have no access to locus store and the subscription plan.

Web portal & sync / Re: Web planner / portal

I currently have a problem with the web planner. I don't have access to my library because of missing gold subscription. But I do have gold and it is indicated in the app.
Why doesn't the web planner recognize me (of course I am logged in)

Edit: The app states gold status but locus store is not accessible.

I use the dash board nearly all of the time. But it disappeares every 2 or 3 days. I have to manually activate it again. Why??

I've noticed that sometimes the data in the dash board is not updated. Especially current altitude.
For example the altitude is at 60m constantly although I walk along a road with an inclination. The current altitude (shown at the cursor) is correct but the altitude shown in the dash board still shows an old value. After a while it is then correct again.... Any explanation for that?

Web portal & sync / Re: Web planner / portal

I've noticed something that is strange and that I don't understand.

I created a track for hiking using the web planner. The elevation gain looked strange (more than reality). Then I synced it with LM4, clicked on "elevation update" and suddenly I got much more realistic elevation gain.
The difference was a few 100 meters between the web planner and LM4 (after update).

Why is it? I am using LM4 with LoMaps (Germany)

Guys,

There are 2 features that I am currently missing. Maybe they are hidden somewhere in the menu. I don't know.

In the old Locus Pro when I clicked somewhere on the track there was this small pop up with some information about the track. Especially the information about the distance from the start and the distance to the end was shown.

Now with the new menu I don't see this information. I can guess the approximate distance when I look at the elevation profile but that's all.

In the small elevation diagram the current position is marked with a vertical line. That's good. But when you maximize the elevation diagram this line disappears and you don't know where you are. That is a bit annoying.

Guys I am missing a function that the previous version of Locus had. Perhaps I'm just to blind to see it.

Before:
When I clicked on a track there was this little pop up menu offering some options like "detail" or "navigation" or "Elevation profile (don't know the correct term".
The elevation profile showed the whole track and marked the location of the selected way point with a dot. That was very helpful to see where the way point was. Furthermore it showed the current location with a second dot. The second dot then moved along the elevation profile as soon as I changed my position.

Is this also implemented in LM4?

Is it possible to import a gpx file in the web planner? (In order to edit it afterwards)

Otherwise the only solution would be to import in on the mobile device and than sync it.

@menion

I changed the track name (a bit), synced again and it worked. The track now is also on my phone.
Thanks for the help

I have a strange issue with the Gold app.

2 days ago I created a track using the web planner. Yesterday I was out for cycling and tried to sync my mobile phone and get that track. It didn't work. It took ages for the sync process even though I had excellent connection and besides that one track everything was up to date. After a while the sync function always said "congratulations" but that track never appeared in the app.

So I opened the browser on my phone and checked the web planner. The track was there. I downloaded the gpx file (export.gpx was the name) and tried to import it manually into locus. It was impossible. The app was frozen and crashed after a few seconds. I tried it several times. Always the same problem.
Then I opened komoot and imported the export.gpx and exported from komoot to my phone in order to manually import another file into locus. It didn't work. The app crashed as described before.
Furthermore all my tracks were gone. There was no nothing left.
I ignored locus for a while. After that my "old" tracks were there again. The sync still didn't work. I didn't get the latest track from the web planner.

Today I read that there is version 4.02.
I installed it and tried to sync again. It says congratulations but the track does not appear on my phone.

What is the problem and what to do?

You are right. It works.
I was confused because of the description on the website and also because I thought LoMaps are version 4

I saw the LE version on the website but it is said that it is not maintened any longer.
According to the website LE is for V3 maps and for my understanding the latest LoMaps are V4?

Hello,

I am looking for the "best" hiking theme for the Lomaps.
The last time I went to the Alps I used OAM with the Elevate Theme and really liked it. For me it is important to see the type/difficulty of the ways (blue/red/black dotted/dashed etc) .

Is it possible to use the Elevate Theme together with the LoMaps? How?
I installed it from the website (auto installer) and see the folder in the locus theme folder but cannot activate it while using a LoMap.

I tried HiLo as well but I don't like the colors at all. Contrast is low so it is hard to read in the map in some occasions.

Thanks for your help

As a long term Locus Pro user I installed the new version yesterday and bought the Gold subscription with the discount immediately.

My first impression was like: The interface changed but apart from that I don't see any major changes.
I know there's new stuff but apparently I only used a small portion of what Locus offers.
To be honest I am not sure that if the Gold plan is the right one for me. But for now I am happy that I have 12 month for testing and then I will decided whether Gold/Silver is the subscription that fits me most.

During my testing yesterday some questions arose.

1. For me the most needed function is to have a web track editor. Just tested the new one for a short while and it looks really good. Since gpsies is gone I haven't found any good track editor (don't like alltrails).
I guess I can create a new track with my computer and it is available in Locus Map on my phone, right? I mean there's a sync between them? I do not have to download the gpx file send it to my mobile, right?
If so, is it only part of gold plan or also silver?

2. I miss the buttons for zooming out and in when viewing the map. 2 finger zoom is not always possible. Is it hidden in the settings?

3. Is there a fast way to quit Locus Map? Don't want to click through the menu several times.

4. With Locus Pro I was able to easily import gpx files. For example someone sent it to me via mail. I clicked on the attachment in the mail, Locus opened and offered me to import the track.
With version 4 Locus opens but that's all. No popup dialog and ofcourse not import. Why is that?

5. The 2nd time I started Locus I had the free/ad version and I was offered the subscription (again). Of course I didn't buy it (again). Restarting didn't help. The ads disappeared after a while and today I was recognised as a gold user. So perhaps this is already solved

6. What type of contour lines does Locus use? Any chance to integrate the high resolution 1 arcsecond files into the LoMaps?
