=> Das ist derzeit das Optimum. Wenn du freundlich bei der Landesregierung anfragst ob sie nicht auch wie schon viele andere Bundesländer die Höhendaten als OpenData freigeben, dann löst sich das Problem bald von selbst ;-)

zunächst ein frohes und vor allem gesundes neues Jahr. Ich habe beim LGLN nachgefragt und folgende Anwort erhalten:
"Die EU-Durchführungsverordnung zu den so genannten hochwertigen Datensätzen (DVO (EU) 2023/138, Download: https://www.geodaten.niedersachsen.de/download/191979/) gibt vor, welche Daten ab diesem Sommer zur freien Verfügung stehen müssen. Darunter fallen auch Höhenangaben. Das gesetzliche Bereitstellungsdatum ist der 09.06.2024. Ich gehe davon aus, dass sämtliche datenhaltenden Stellen dieser Durchführungsverordnung nachkommen und dann die Daten über Darstellungs- / Downloaddienste und als Massendownload anbieten. Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein oder sollten Sie Daten nicht finden können, so fordern Sie die Höhendaten zu diesem Termin am besten per E-Mail an: vertrieb-lgn@lgln.niedersachsen.de"

Vielleicht klappt es dann ja mit genaueren Daten für Niedersachsen.

Just installed the latest update. The temperature sensor is now working properly. Thank you for your efforts.

Das finde ich etwas lächerlich.
Im Sommer sind die Temperaturen von 40 Grad eher das Minimum.
Ich lasse mir zeitweise die Temperaturen anzeigen.
Sobald ein paar Apps laufen bleibt auch die Akku Temp. nicht mehr unter 40 Grad und CPU sowie Temps. anderer Sensoren liegen im min. eher bei 45-50 Grad.

Da stimme ich Dir voll zu. Auch ich lasse mir die Temperaturen anzeigen und komme im Sommer immer locker auf über 40 Grad, ohne dass ich nach Jahren festgestellt hätte, dass der Akku wesentlich schlechter wird. Außerdem läuft bei mir das Navi, da ich es nur am Fahrrad nutze, häufig über die Powerbank.

Aber, auch wenn ich mich wiederhole, wenn alle Hersteller ähnliche "Bremsen" einbauen, ist LM4 irgendwann nicht mehr nutzbar. Insofern ist Menion schon gefordert, hier nach dem Grund zu suchen, um auch bei LM4 eine Abdunkelung zu verhindern.

Here is my solution in pictures. I am currently using a WS08 sensor. I sealed the opening of the two parts with a waterproof rubber ring (image 1), then attached the sensor to my mobile phone holder with the necessary openings facing down. Then the mobile phone itself comes over the sensor (image 2). This means that the sensor is also largely covered at the top. At this angle, no rain can get into the sensor from below either.

In this constellation I have been driving for months without any problems, even in the rain.

I don't need a bag that is opened or closed depending on the weather, apart from the fact that a bag always poses the risk of falsifying the temperature (it's always cooler outside than inside, regardless of the weather).

The problems remain, of course, on the one hand that the connection breaks off after about 30 minutes and, above all, the great inertia of the sensor.

I have already said that after about 30 minutes no more data is sent despite an existing Bluetooth connection.

By chance I found yesterday that the data is sent continuously if I switch off the display just before the 30 minutes are up and then switch it on again immediately.

Then the data transfer runs for hours.

I have no idea what turning the display off and on does though.

Perhaps my observation is an approach to a permanent solution.

I just received the sensor. Briefly connect Locus to the sensor and the temperature is displayed immediately. This works even faster and better than with the Garmin sensor and ANT under LM Classic. Thank you both for the tips.

I have now received a reply from the supplier. Shipping costs of $35 are due for delivery to Germany. The sensor is therefore still very expensive.

When googling I got u. a. found the following sensor: "Brifit Thermometer Hygrometer". This sensor looks exactly like the WS 07.

At Amazon, this sensor costs only €13.59. I will test it once to check whether both sensors are really identical. Maybe I'll turn to you again with a question.

I just see that the back of the sensor also says WS07 (see picture). So it does appear to be the same sensor.

Es geht aber nicht um die Ablesbarkeit bei "normalem" Licht sondern um die Ablesbarkeit während der Fahrt, wenn die Sonne voll scheint??

Ich habe es noch einmal gründlich getestet und versucht, das Problem nachzustellen. Auch bei vollem Sonnenschein kann ich keinen Unterschied feststellen. Bei LM4 ind LMpro ist und bleibt das Display gleich hell (was bei frontaler Sonne natürlich trotz maximaler Helligkeit bei beiden schlecht lesbar ist).

Wir sollten die Diskussion nicht wieder beginnen.
Das S 7 habe ich nie getestet. Bei mir begann es beim S 8. Das bei den neueren Geräten deutliche Helligkeitsunterschiede zwischen den beiden Apps bestehen wurde selbst von Menion bestätigt.

Die von Jonny.blue genannte App zeigt zumindest bei meinem S 21 ja auch die versteckte Funktion des Dimmens ab einer bestimmten Akkutemperatur (weshalb das bei LM 3 nicht geschieht?). Diese Funktion des Zwangsdimmens gab es bei den älteren Geräten  (vor dem S 10) nicht. Bei meinem S 8 hat Alliance Shield diese Funktion nicht gefunden. Hier ist mir ein Dimmen auch nie aufgefallen.

Wenn daher das S 7 beide Apps gleich hell oder dunkel (im Vergleich zum S 21) darstellt dann war da s nicht die Frage. Hier ging es eigentlich nur um die Geräte S 10 aufwärts.

Jetzt aber wirklich endlich wieder in die Praxis. Um die Akkutemperatur zu ermitteln, habe ich mich aufgerafft und bin bei 32 Grad 90 Minuten in überwiegend voller Sonne gefahren. Die Temperatur betrug max. 41,2 Grad, ganz überwiegend aber um die 38-39 Grad. Das Display des S21 war die ganze Zeit super hell und bestens ablesbar. So macht Fahren mit dem Navi wirklich Spaß!

Dir, jonny.blue nochmals vielen Dank für den tollen Tipp. Ich hatte die Hoffnung schon aufgegeben.

So far so good. But it's not that simple after all. The general question, why LM 3 no and LM 4 yes, is not answered by this.

During my two-hour bike ride yesterday (outside temperature 25 degrees and full sun) I measured the battery temperature with both LM 3 and LM 4. In both cases the temperature was identical between 34.4 degrees in the shade and up to 39 degrees in the sun.

I read in the forums a few weeks ago that Samsung generally darkens from 35 degrees, other manufacturers only from 50 degrees.

So why doesn't LM 3 darken?

But I don't invest any more time in answering this question. I had already bought the Oppo cheaply used and am very satisfied with it and the LM 4.

Ich hoffe, dass LM Pro 3 noch einige Jahre läuft und nicht auch noch vom Entwickler verschlimmbessert wird.

Wie schon im englischsprachigen Forum gesagt, finde ich es vorsichtig ausgedrückt merkwürdig, dass nicht deutlich darauf hingewiesen wird, dass die Software bei Samsung-Geräten nur eingeschränkt eingesetzt werden kann.

Das unter gleichen Bedingungen das Problem bei allen Samsung-Geräten auftritt, ist für mich bewiesen. Ich habe mittlerweile 6 unterschiedliche bzw. ausgetauschte Geräte und eines meiner Schwiegertochter getestet. Überall kommt dasselbe Problem. Auch Menion hat ja zugegeben, dass das Problem auch auf seinem Samsung auftritt. Dann einfach zu sagen, es beschweren sich ja wenige, also verwende ich keine Mühe auf die Ermittlung und Beseitigung des Fehlers spricht nicht unbedingt für den Entwickler.

Bewundern muss ich JackRussell, der immer noch versucht, den Fehler zu finden.
Solltest Du eine Lösung finden, teile sie bitte mit, da ich immer noch der Meinung bin, dass LM zwar nicht die einzige, aber für mich nach meinen Einsätzen von Ozi, TwoNav und einigen anderen die beste App ist.

Again, this app is unable to force LM 4 to stay light. But it works with other apps.
In one of my previous posts I said that I wanted to test my daughter-in-law's S 20. Here too, LM 4 darkens.

I am annoyed that some USERS say it is only due to my devices. I claim that if everyone were to test under the same conditions, the problem generally exists with LM 4, otherwise it would be absolutely unlikely that only I would have the problem with the S 6, S 8, S 10, S 20 and S 21 and the Xcover pro even twice (because I replaced the device).

However, I accept that Menion cannot understand the error in the app.

I am now sticking to LM 3 and, as I have already said, I will wait and see if there is anything new on this topic.

No, not only the panels are darker but the whole app is darker than LM 3.

If you can't find the reason, I will further use LM 3. Thats great.

Es gibt da m. E. keinen Trick. Auch bei mir klappt die Messung nicht immer. Möglicherweise hängt es auch von der Empfindlichkeit des Bildschirmes ab.

Wenn ich mein Samsung S 10 + nutze, klappt die Messung eigentlich immer, bei meinem BlackView 9700 muss ich die Finger (nicht die Fingernägel) schon richtig auf das Display legen, damit eine Messung erfolgt.

Einfach mehrfach probieren.
