Hi, with some delay, I also want to reply to some feedback.

First, we are still in the process of evaluating whether we will switch on vector map by default on web planner. And it will probably stay like this for the while. Meanwhile we will probably make indication which map is selected more prominent. So for now, you will start on raster map if you are not already opening web planner with url params which also defines previously selected map.

Regarding switchable layers - we want to decide this later. For now the priorities are evaluating proper support of map rendering on desired platforms and focusing on its usability to majority of the needs without need to advice users to fiddle with its layers. Biggest piece of the pie on this table is hill shading now..

I never liked the "flying" map

Well, I am afraid you are in minority there Alang. We will take a look if it possible or make sense to make this switchable, but the default behavior will not change. Good point with creating new shaping point while stopping map movement thought. We will check if this can be addressed.

Since WebPlanner V2 the planned route and selected track are now part of the canvas graphics along with the map, previously they were SVG paths. Was this really necessary ? It makes them "invisible" programmatically.

Ha, didn't expect feedback like this.  To make the tracks visible programmatically in the frontend wasn't really in our priority list when switching map rendering framework. Don't hesitate to create new forum topic if you want to provide more detail what use-case you seek.

Help us to shape our geocaching efforts within the app. There are some basics already like showing some extended Geocaching data for imported waypoints to Library.

What are you missing most? What to implement for you to be suitable client to be used while geocaching? How are you used to load/prepare caches for your trip?

Then our current plan for next month(s) is to finally verify feasibility of importing mbtiles maps (and implement it if possible) and then implement live-tracking funckionality.

We are following our long-term strategy, but I don't want to provide further plans now. Of course on the horizon are also obvious missing features like navigation etc.

Locus Map LITE v1.8.0 brings following:

1) early version of in-app route planner.
You can now plan your route within the app by selecting route "shaping points" from LoPoints, user waypoints or simply anywhere on the map and online router will calculate route for you  based on what activity have you choose. By unchecking "apply to entire route" toggle, you can already plan independent segments of the route by different routing profiles if you wish to do so. We prioritized planning via map for first planner version. If you are familiar with planner on our Android version, you shouldn't have issue to learn how to control it. Otherwise let us know how hard or intuitive it is for first comers! Route can then be shared by the URL link or saved to your Library.
There are of course lots of missing pieces which we want to bring in near future. First will be ability to drag&drop shaping points on the map so you don't need to delete part of the route and recreate it. This is for sure missing the most on the this first version. Next would be ability to fully plan within itinerary panel and later we will work also on advanced features like custom parameters for route profiles, ability to add "via points", path surfaces etc..

2) iPad UX redesign - "bottom sheets" are now opened on the side of the screen so you will not loose your focus on the map. Great for planning on big screen!

3) you can now search coordinates completely offline and the app should be able to parse all mostly used formats.

1.8.0 Version is currently released in the BETA group and soon published to AppStore for everyone. We would love to hear your experience with it!

Žádné omezení v dynamickém načítání dalších "stránek" seznamu složky v Mojí knihovně tam není. A pokud se vám načítání zasekne než dojdete na konec seznamu, jedná se o chybu. Jaký prohlížeč prosím používáte? V případě, že dojedete na konec načteného seznamu pod kterým očekávate načtení ještě dalších položek - končí seznam prostě poslední načtenou položkou nebo je pod ním grafika indikující načítání další části seznamu? Díky

Hi, Locus Map on iOS doesn't yet support set of features of its Android sibling. And that includes compatibility with 3rd party maps. We are working hard to clear more pressing priorities on this platform before we will focus on this topic. Locus Map was always about freedom in map selections and we want to keep this true even on iOS. But time wise, I don't expect any progress in this in first half of this year. So please stay tuned and keep your fingers crossed!

Nikde v nastavení nevidím nic o WiFi

Přimlouval bych se za změnu vzhledu naplánované trasy.

Určitě na to hned mrkneme po změně toho mapového jádra. Víme, že současný stav v některých oblastech není dobrý. Čeldův obrázek je exemplární případ. Díky

1) Ano, hledání a pokročilé filtrování v MyLib - tedy i keší na webu prozatím chybí. Pevně věříme, že se nám to podaří tento rok alespoň částečně dohnat. Promyslíme i podporu uživatelského setu ikon, byť tady už pro tento rok tak optimistický nejsem. "Natvrdo" měnit jejich ikony v plánu nemáme.

2) Ano, toto bychom měli vyřešit při dalším releasu. Je to spíše bug než funkce, zanesená v některém z předchozích releasů..

3) Se stylem plánované trasy jsme si již na webu vícekrát "hráli", ale bohužel tam čárkováná čára nikdy nevypadala moc dobře a vždy jsme se prozatím vrátili k původnímu růžovému defaultu. Aktuálně probíhá implementace změny mapového jádra, která nám ale nejen v této oblasti pravděpodobně otevře spoustu nových možností. Předtím do toho tedy již šahat nechceme, ale pak na to opět mrkneme!

4) Z pohledu našeho cloudu má webový plánovač vždy čerstvá data. Tzn. pokud někde dochází ke zpoždění, tak je to synchronizační proces v mobilní aplikaci. Ta by měla během pár sekund po uložení trasy dostat ze serveru notifikaci a automaticky zahájit synchronizační proces. Tedy pokud jsou k tomu samozřejmě nastavené podmínky jako povolená automatická synchronizace a přenos na aktuální síti. Je ale možné, že v některých případech toto (hned) nenastane. Vždy lze ale synchronizaci "odpálit" v aplikaci ručně (Moje Knihovna > Synchronizace s cloudem > START) a tím data s webem okamžitě sjednotit.

@hoschilo What bike do you target exactly? Because there is already integrated sensor in the Locus Map for Specialized Turbo Levo ebikes which uses Brose motors.

But it was tested and used with 1th generation Turbo Levo and I understand that newer models may not be fully compatible with the sensor due to some little changes in the communications compared to older one.

So I would recommend to first test that already implemented "Specialized" sensor to find out whether it is working for you or not. If not the easiest way for Brose motor should probably be to just do minor modifications and make it work again even with newer models.

sorry I missed this thread. Such manual track editing is not yet implemented both on iOS and web. Honestly it is only rarely  requested feature so it didn't have high priority for us so far. I don't expect this will change in near future for iOS app which has still huge amount of stuff to catch up, but we will definitely consider to add this to the plan for web portal for the next year.

For now one of the option, although little bit nerdy, is to export track to GPX, removed unwanted track points in text editor manually and import it again. Or sync data with some Android and do it there of course. Sorry I don't have better solution for you for now.

Zdravím, změnili jsme výchozí chování při přepínání routovacích profilů. Je to takto logičtější pro více uživatelů. Pokud tedy nechcete při přepnutí profilu přepočítat celou trasu, neklikejte rovnou na nový routovací profil, ale zvolte třítečkové menu a v něm označte "pokračovat s...". Tím se aplikace zachová jako dříve.

Budeme nicméně tohoto rozhraní ještě dolaďovat - uvědomujeme si, že současné řešení naopak může činit problém nějakým dlouhodobějším uživatelům, kteří původní chování ocenili více.

So when you restarted track recording, the app records portion of the activity but then stop completely? Could you please share that activity via link? We will discuss this with responsible developer once he will be available.

Green dot indicates start of the track, while red one is finish.

However please note, that BETA versions can be sometimes unstable.  Also latest BETA is already older than public version available via App Store.

Hi, we are confident to say, that current "default" behavior with auto-reroute is better and more intuitive for more users.

But in the same time we are not 100% happy how we had to "hide" the option to change profile only for next segments - knowing it was used like that by our more experienced users and is one of key advantage of our route planner. So we definitely didn't close this topic yet.
