Hi Menion,
Thanks for the V4 development !
Would it be possible in the future to have multiple map overlays ?
Kind regards

Troubles & Questions / Locus unmount sdcard1
February 02, 2015, 01:46:37
Hello Menion !
I've been using locus map pro for years with a lot of satisfaction :)
I just install today Cynogenmod 12 on my galaxy s4 (i9505)
The phone has an external sd of 64g fat with 3gb of maps
The external SD is mounted as /storage/sdcard1/
As soon as I select this directory in Locus (settings/misc/Default directories) it unmount sdcard1. I can acces the external sd only after unmount and mount again in android settings/storage.
Do you have an idea ?
Regards,
Vince

Ok thanks ! I'll do a "backup" to the offline maps directory and try to keep a copy on mapsOnline.
We'll see :)

Declined / Visualisation of cached area
May 27, 2011, 11:18:57
Hi,
Is there a way to view the area of cached tiles ? I mean a big map with (in red) the region cached in the sqlite file for a specified zoom level ?
External app ?
Thanks
Vince

Hi Menion,
What appends if the cached map files (the ones in locus/mapsOnline ) become bigger than 2Gb ?
One of my file is growing and will soon reach 2Gb!
Thanks

Hello Menion !
Could you add another coordonate type ? I live in Switzerland and the official map use a costum coordinate type : CH1903
Here is the documentation : http://www.swisstopo.admin.ch/internet/ ... ripts.html
There are scripts (WGS84<->CH1903), in C#, php and javascript, provided in that web site.
Thanks a lot

yes! long click in address popup would be cool, but more easy, a single tap (click?) on the red cross could update the third row in coordinates. I really offen need this feathure and i think long click would be "boring" :D
What i did implement in a web map was to wait for idle (~0.5s after the map center change) before updating the altitude, to minimize the internet flow.
Thanks a lot! Vince

Yeah! That's cool!I've just added the quick switch to side bar, that's almost perfect!
Good idea for the small red/green dot !

Implemented / add an offline button
April 21, 2011, 12:57:54
Hello,
After two days of using your application, I still finding usefull tricks !
And i also have some whishes ;-)
So my third whish is an offline button, in the bottombar, or the sidebar, to be able to switch between online and offline mode, so in offline mode we only use the cached tiles.
Look at my mockup.
Best regards, Vince

Implemented / show altitude with coordinate

Hi,
Would be really cool to see altitude next to the coordinate in the topbar, using for example google elevation api (http://code.google.com/intl/fr-FR/apis/ ... elevation/).
Thanks !

edit: I just made a mockup, look at the picture
