Ah, brilliant! Thanks a lot for your answers. This was the problem, indeed. I created a little script to convert all GPX files and now they look fine. The GPX tracks came from Walkhighlands website. I used them before without problems, they must have change file formats recently.

Troubles & Questions / Waypoints with big red arrows
September 19, 2014, 15:28:22
Not sure if this was discussed before, but I cannot find anything using search. When I import a GPX track and show it on the map, every waypoint is marked with a large red arrow. I find it obtrusive, in particular when I zoom out a little.

How can I change this behaviour? Can I switch these arrows off?

Hi Menion,

Thanks for your quick response. No problem, I can wait until the next version. I do appreciate the support you provide to all users.

I have a bunch of GPX files with walks, I downloaded back in 2011 and used with Locus (they worked!). Now, I tried to go back to these tracks and cannot import any of them. I do Data->Tracks->Tap category tools icon->Import, then select a GPX file, confirm "import" and... there is a brief flash of "importing" window, then all dialogues disappear and the track is not in the category. Nothing happens, no error message. I tried this both on my Nexus 4 phone and Transformer Prime tablet. Here is an example GPX file that fails to import:

However, when I tried to import a GPX file exported by Locus previously, it imported correctly. Is there anything wrong with the above GPX file? It definitely used to work with older Locus (July 2011).

Troubles & Questions / Nexus 4 support
December 06, 2012, 19:52:23
Hi,

Thanks for the great app. I have just bought a new phone, Nexus 4 and Locus is not compatible with this device. I don't know whether this is a hardware issue, or it doesn't support Android 4.2. Any chances of making it available for Nexus 4 in the nearst future?
