Wishlist / Add to existing downloaded map ?

It would be cool if there was a way, instead of saving an area marked for download as a new map, to have the option to save it into an existing map.

My thought process is like this: Say I drive from city A to city B. I would select a custom path from A to B and download it at a rather small zoom level, for the drive. I also would want a closer zoom of city A and city B, so i can find stuff in A and B, so I would select both cities as a block and with a better zoom. But currently I have to save each of these three into a different map file and switch. It would be much nicer if I could just put all three datasets into one map.

And as I've seen when you look at downloaded maps, Locus already supports having maps where in some places you can zoom deeper than in others, so it shouldn't be a big change.

Thank you, that is very nice of you!

I would appreciate that system (one track = trackname.gpx, multiple tracks = something.zip), yes. I understand if you decide no, but I would prefer yes.

Hello,

a week or two ago, I recorded a few tracks, saved them, and then exported and shared them as .GPX files to my Dropbox folder. So far so awesome. But when I tried today, Locus refused to save as anything but "exportShare.zip", a non-descript named container, that was promptly overwritten five minutes later because even if it exists, Locus still can only save it with that specific name. I want to go back to the old way, where it exported/shared tracks as trackname.gpx. Am I doing something wrong, or was this changed in the meantime ? If so, is there a place where I could download an older version of Locus ?
