Will I be able to send my recorded path from my garmin device to locus maps once I stop recording over bluetooth? When I am in the field I won't be able to connect to a computer to export my .gpx or whatever format garmin uses to record.

Thank you I see that instinct 2 will be supported here:

Garmin instinct did not have ConnectIQ feature however Instinct 2 does have ConnectIQ. I was wondering if Instinct 2 can connect to LocusMaps using ConnectIQ similar to Fenix?

This would give me all the functionality of a fenix watch with detailed topos without the price tag of a fenix watch.

Before I was prompted to restart the map resolution was way off maybe because it was sliding around in my pocket. I couldn't even see the state/country I was in. Everything was blank until I began zooming into my location.

More specifically after accepting "restart" I was prompted to initialize and that brought up the welcome screen which I could not get past without internet.

My question is if I see this restart option again should I go into app info and force stop?  This way it would revert back how it originally starts without performing any changes I may have inadvertently caused. Is there a option to prevent app restarts like "no modifications pending restart" or some way to allow offline initialization? Requiring internet when the app is intended for offline use is concerning.

I was out hiking without service and checked my phone which prompted me to restart the locus app. I said ok then the app wanted to inialize which required service. Problem is that it almost left me stranded in the middle of nowhere. My question is why did locus want me to restart and was this an issue of touching my screen while in pocket? Or was this because I was in airplane mode while trying to conserve battery?
