I updated my Locus Pro app to 3.51.0 on my Samsung Tab Active2 SM-T395 (Android 9 installed).

Since updating, when I create a waypoint, I get the screen where I can edit the wapoint. When I save, Locus stops and the tablets says somthing like "Locus stops all the time"...

After restarting the app, the point is saved in the database.

With the button 'quick add point" this problem doesn't happen.

What's the problem??

Thanks!

Troubles & Questions / filter points
June 05, 2018, 22:08:53
In version 3.31.0 there is a new possibility to filter points by date. This is very useful but on my Samsung Tab3 active and Samsung S7 it doesn't seem to work..all the points are selected whatever date I try to filter them with... .What do I do wrong?

Troubles & Questions / Add point position
April 17, 2017, 00:06:34
When adding a waypoint in Locus 3.23.0 with the 'add new point' button, under 'Location' I can choose 9 options; for example 'GPS', 'Screen centre', 'Select on map'...

I always like to plot the point in 'screen centre', when I select this option, its ok for one time, but the next time I plot another point, the setting is automatically turned back to 'GPS'. This is annoying because everytime I plot a point I have to change this to 'Screen centre'  and I often forget, so the point is plotted wrongly....

It would be much more convenient if Locus would remember my last choice.

In the past I never had this problem..

Thank you for looking at this.

When plotting several waypoints on a map on exactly the same location (using 'add point' or 'quick add point'), and pressing on the labels of the points, a list of points and a small menu pops up. In this menu there is a small 'sorting'-button (see image) but it seems to me that the sorted list is always alphabetical, no matter which way of sorting is selected.

Also on the labels on the map the first plotted points are shown, it would be more helpful to see the last plotted points!

Troubles & Questions / height indication in labels
December 22, 2014, 00:19:18
I noticed that in version 3.5.2 always the height is put behind a waypoint label, is there a way to shut off this function? I often have a lot of waypoints and when they get bigger there's more overlap. Secondly I don't need height.

Thanks very much!

Troubles & Questions / Highlighting of tracks
December 18, 2014, 13:16:29
Before version 3.5.1 when the cursor was within a track or 'hovering' above a track, this track would lighten up. In version 3.5.1 however, nothing happens.

A pitty for me because this was a real useful functionality. I don't know when this 'disseapeared', but for sure that in 3.2.0 it was still working.

Is there a way to get this functionality back?

Thanks!

Wishlist / another 'quick add point' wish
May 19, 2013, 13:32:30
It would be very convenient to have the opportunity to add more than one 'quick add point' -button on the screen. These seperate 'quick add point' -buttons could refer to different groups of points to add quickly.

Best wishes!

Wishlist / repeat 'quick add point'
April 29, 2013, 19:12:39
I would like to have the possibillity to repeat the (information of) last appointed POI in the 'quick add point'-button. So, with one click, same POI with same information is created as the last one.

Good luck!

Wishlist / possibility to move a POI
April 16, 2013, 23:26:25
It would be nice if it where possible to move an existing and  selected POI to another location on a map. In nearly every aspect I prefer Locus for Viewranger, only this feature in Viewranger is great. Could it be developped in Locus?

Wishlist / create data files in Locus
March 10, 2013, 13:25:29
I'm using Locus for quite a long time and i'm very satisfied with it. As an ecologist my big wish would be for locus to be able to process data 'in the field' with the app.
This could be points, lines or polygons, created in the outdoors, with certain data to be attached to it, or predefined species-list which 'pop up' after marking a point, line or polygon. Off course the created data in the field must be exported later, preferrably in .xls or.dbf like outputfile.
Normally I would use ArcGis by ESRI for this kind of stuff but ArcGis is so incredible slow in developing android based apps and even Windows 8 based apps are not existent for them yet.
I even think there is a huge commercial market in developing something I just pictured...

Thanks for the app anyway!
