Is it just me?

In preset edit dialog there are two settings with description "display or hide xyz".
What means setting enabled in this case? Is enabled stands for display or for hide ?
For me it's not clear. I just guess enabled means display.

Is it not enough to use just "Display xyz"?
Like "Display Navigation statistics"

It's not only in english language. Also in others.

Navigation commands > should be hidden. If they aren't it usually means, that for some reason, the connection between the track and these waypoints breaks and they are no longer considered as navigation points, but ordinary waypoints. ... ah, seems you find this. The question is why and how this happened.
It's the same reason why sometimes the shaping points lost. You remember. The loonnng time issue we never found and were not able to reproduce it.
This time I'm a bit sure it depend on not enough memory. I edited a tour in tour planner on medirore tablet. Exit Tour planner without saving. Did something else which resulted in a Locus crash. (I guess bcs not enough memory. Same thing works on my flagship smartphone without problem but crashes often on tablet)
Somewhere in this scenario the shaping points are lost and navigation commands lost there tour connection.

If I must choose it's clearly dashboard.

But I can even live with 6 month of nothing. Locus Map is in a good state.

map to preset 👍👍👍👍👍 well done :)

That's great.
@Menion
May I ask if you can add the long tap map to presets, too? This would be awesome.

That's all fine but Quick bookmark in panel opens a dialog to select a bookmark.
For me a feature to add a bookmark button directly in the side/bottom/... panel will be much better.
This is only possible via tasker plugin. That's why I use both ways today.

Would be nice to not forget the no go area file in the backup.
I know it's in a completely different folder. But inside the backup it can be moved to somewhere else.

Track.db without no go area file might result in a different track after recalculation.

The app draws only a part of the route right "before you" in defined color. Rest till the target is then drawn in a little less visible style, to distinguish the route in case it overlaps.

Just as a feedback. It's an extremly good feature in my case. Thanks for it.

I have a simple request.
When searching for a address using online google just use online google ;)

Jokes apart.
I noticed for quite a while the search is a bit stupid.
I'm normally copy contact info from a Website and search in Locus. The chance is high to get many results which has not much to do with the search or often I get no result at all.

Just as an example.
I searched for:
"Hotel Linger
Naunweg 21
I-39057 Girlan an der Weinstraße"
It finds nothing.

Now I have a tasker task to use Google Geocoding Api to search for the content in clipboard. Here it finds the location without any problem.
I even have not to deal with multiple useless result. At least for me it finds almost always what I was looking for.

I guess there were special request which over complicates the search algorithmen in Locus. Maybe it's a good idea to add a "simple search" toggle to just use the normal google/bing/.... approach.

No problem.

Some cool feature I found.
Searched for a restaurant. Selected the search result. Added a point at that location.
Locus filled out not just the address, even Telephon Number and Url. Genius.
Thanks Locus team.

Good point this I forgot. In my original route it will be 30 min longer after adding the via point. Might be because Locus calculates a stop with driver change and waiting for another vehicle to pass ;)

Interesting new feature to generate shaping points in planner for imported tracks.

I guess it's difficult to find a balance between to many or not enough points.
@CabrioTourer - check out how http://brouter.de/brouter-web allows total user control of balance of points - Load > Load Track as Route > Tuning > Fuzziness slider control - one side very few shaping points, other side of slider - lots of shaping points - no need for system to compromise because user decides - very nice system IMHO.

I'm not sure that I understand what you mean.
Shaping points in my example were created by Locus when I imported a track. . The gpx comes from kurviger.de

The problem I see is that Locus creates the points just by guessing. Without taking the router logic into account the user will use later.
Or at least this is what I assume how it works from my findings. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So with this feauture I have no control where and how many shaping points are created.

I just have the fact that even without any change in shaping points position a recalculate will create different route with many stupid things.
Recalc is the worst case ofc.
The same will happen for a part of the route whenever I move a shaping point or later during navigation when Locus needs to recalculate partialy.

For me such a feature would be a dream. Today I always need to use the route planner manually to create a route which will follow the exact same path as defined by an external gpx.

Maybe I completely misunderstand the usage of this feauture.
