Updating the caches works again thanks to the new version of G4L (3.0.12)

• 200m (on ruler) (whatever ZL that is I don't generally view)

• display is normally off (99.99% of recording time)

I can't update Geocaches via Geocaching4Locus addon since this version.

Seems that the addon app opens for a short while but closes instantly without doing anything

The update also no longer works with version 4.22.2. Geocaching4Locus has been updated.

The path can no longer be displayed for photos attached to a point.

Up to and including version 4.22.2, an info icon was displayed at the bottom right when the photo was opened, which could be used to call up the file path.

This no longer exists in the current version. Since I have attached photos from different folders on my device to points, I need this info and I would like to have it back.

you are both correct. There seems to be some inconsistency when exporting attachments. I've improved it, so give a try to the next (Beta) version. Thanks a lot!

I note from https://www.locusmap.app/locus-map-4-20-and-other-pre-christmas-news/ about the opening "animation". I've never seen this on an actual device (3). Does the device need to be younger than certain age/ OS version before the animation occurs?

Just another problem:
from time to time I receive an error on my phone:

"Locus Map wird wiederholt beendet -App Informationen ; App schließen " although LM4 isn't (for me visible) running. 

Ich vermute die wird Balloni55 kennen, er nutzt ja immerhin die beta, aber fragt darüber hinaus..

Das habe ich bei www.arcgis.com gefunden als Definition:

This map provides a colorized representation of aspect, generated dynamically using the server-side aspect function on the Terrain service. The orientation of the downward sloping terrain (0° – 360°) is indicated by different colors, rotating from green (North) to blue (East), to magenta (South) to orange (West).  Flat areas having no down slope direction are given a value of 361° and rendered as gray. This service can be used for visualization or analysis.

"Neigungsrichtung" ist im Moment das einzige deutsche Wort das mir dazu einfällt.

thanks for the bug report, but maybe two hours later I immediately released the 3.70.1 version where this problem should be solved! Does it work now?

App (if we will talk about track recording), is prepared to accidentally shutdown of the whole system. So when you restore the power of the device within 10 minutes, the recording should even start again automatically.

it's something that I, like Andrew Heard, have also tested and I confirm that it is truly a great feature of Locus.
I didn't know about the 10 minute limit, if it is exceeded Locus creates two tracks, closes the abruptly interrupted one and opens a new one?
Maybe 10 are few, especially if you don't notice that the battery has abandoned you, the low battery warning on Android has never been very relevant, perhaps you could put in place a proper acoustic warning below a certain charge threshold directly in Locus.

I think it is time for a drastic correction of approach here: whatever you do for iOS should not screw the 100000s of users from whom you make your living.
As long as the new search function is not professional, give the Android users back the Google based search.
Equal functionality is not a valid argument against this request, as the iOS version will lack essentials for years to come anyway.
At least give the existing and fully functional Google based search as an option to your (Android) users, PLEASE!
