Good news: suddenly the folder Android/data/menion.android.locus.pro is visible and accessible in Windows 11 again.

I have exactly the same problem on a new Samsung phone with Android 14.
With FileManager+ on my phone I can see the folder and enter it but on my PC (Win 11 Pro) it's not visible.
Putting new Freizeitkarte maps in the correct location was impossible, I had to move them later inside my phone with FileManager+.

I have no problems with track vivibility (A52 Android 13) in V3.66.0.
My settings and changes are kept correctly after a restart.

Troubles & Questions / Re: Bottom Panel won't hide
February 14, 2023, 16:23:33
I installed the latest beta and hiding the bottom panel works great now :)
There still is a minor issue when hiding the zoom buttons, the bottom menu then looks exactly like my second an third screenshot.

Thanks Tapio, I will try that beta version later on the day.
I am really surprised that the actual LM4 version on Google Play has such flaws in very basic settings. It makes a transition from LM3 to LM4 not very attractive...

Troubles & Questions / Bottom Panel won't hide
February 12, 2023, 16:34:12
I am still using LM3 Pro because I like it a lot but I have played around with LM4 free also. I've set the bottom, top and right function panels to hide automatically but the bottom panel wouldn't hide and after trying many different settings without result I decided to uninstall LM4 completely and I clean installed v4.12.2 from Google Play.
To my surprise the bottom panel still won't hide and I found another unexpected bottom menu change after setting the zoom buttons to auto-hide.

Screenshot Bottom Panel after a clean install:
You cannot view this attachment.

Screenshot Bottom Panel after setting the zoom buttons to auto-hide:
You cannot view this attachment.

Screenshot Bottom Panel after setting all panels and function buttons to hide:
You cannot view this attachment.

These are all very basic settings but the result is not what I expected, the bottom menu just won't hide after a double tap or the timeout. Also, hiding the zoom buttons changes the entire bottom menu.
Am I doing someting wrong or is this all normal behaviour? My device is a Samsung A52 on Android 13

Information / Re: Update of the forum (2022/08)

@Andrew Heard yes with Firefox ctrl+ and ctrl- does work too and I am using it on several websites, it enlarges the entire website though ,not only the font-size.
If I compare the font-size overhere with a dozen other forums I follow this one definetely uses the smallest size.

edit: I found the perfect solution. in Firefox I can set a minimum font-size for all websites and that suits my bad eyes well ;-)

I like the design and colors of this new forum, well done!
The only problem I have is due to my age and bad eyes, the used font-size is very small and I have to set Firefox to 130% to be able to read it. Is it possible to set font-size in the user account (couldn't find it)?

As a hiker, following a track all day long, I want to be able to quickly see the remaining distance and elevation to the endpoint of the track, preferrable by one click. I know I could navigate a track but that requires more battery-power and on multi day hikes in remote areas saving energy is very important.
The way LM3 works is great but if you insist on showing the 'Trackpoint X' screen when tapping on a track a  good compromise would be to show the 4 values (as shown in LM3) on top of the screen so I can see them without scrolling.

That's not only one click more, it also requires scrolling down to see both values and more clicks to see the remaining elevation. The LM3 solution is much better, I use it many times a day to quickly see how far I have to go, no menu's at all.

I am missing this feature too.
I am hiking long distances (many weeks) and still use Locus Map Pro just for this functionality!
#12
It works with LM4 but not with the latest LM Pro v3.56.5 though I gave LM Pro the same access as LM4.

I searched extensively but couldn't find how to reverse track directon.
#14
Thanks, since the function is 'hidden' behind the copy-function I couldn't find it.

I would like to reverse the direction of some tracks I imported in Locus map Pro, is this possible?
