Reposting / translating / rephrasing a post from the German forum:

Since a few days ago, Locus Map doesn't close normally any longer. If I try to close it e.g. by swiping up / sideways, the L in a circle still appears in the status bar, with the message ,,Locus Map is running". If I try to close the app by hitting the back button twice, the circled L disappears, but upon tapping the overview / toggle button, the app is still there. Only if I perform both actions, 1. exit with double tap on the back button, 2. tap overview button and swipe, the app seems to close. I'm running 3.38.2 on Moto G7 plus (Android 9). (The OP mentioned that the only option to stop the app was to restart the phone).

P.S. ,,run Locus Map as a service" option is not turned on.

Yes, that did work. I changed the setting under ,,Offline maps", saw a message to restart the app, and after the restart, the (online) OSM maps look o.k. I didn't have to restart the phone. Thanks!

I seem to have the same issue. Using a new Moto G7 plus with 3.38 since yesterday. Online maps e.g. OSM appear blurry / fuzzy, text / labels hardly decipherable. I was using 3.37 on Moto G5 plus previously, and am able to compare side by side: on the same zoom level, 3.37 is crystal clear and sharp with a lot of detail; whilst 3.38 has much less detail, and is blurry / fuzzy.

Interestingly, I observed the same phenomenon with a different app, c:geo. OSM maps are blurry / fuzzy on the G7 plus, sharp on the G5 plus. Same version of the c:geo app on both devices. When I disable hardware acceleration in c:geo, the problem on the G7 plus disappears: OSM are sharp and detailed. Of course I tried disabling hardware acceleration in Locus Map Pro as well (expert mode): didn't work!
