I must appologize. Having read skids post I did a search of the Forum for "online map sources" and found Berkley post linking to XDA forum,and that link was dead.
Maybe I should read all the posts the search brought up [], as I have done now and found it is an Add On which is now installed.

Thanks for that skids. Unfortunately I don't have Bing on my list of online maps, I take it you have Berkley's add on which is no longer available.
I will look at mobile map creator.

Having used Locus Pro now for a few months Geocaching I find it great. As I live in an area where most of the caches are on moorland or farmland I carry an OS Map with me to ensure I don't upset the landowners. It would be nice if the map used by Locus contained the Public Footpaths and Bridleways. I have experimented caching the online maps and found that OSM regional / Open-PT-Map has the detail required, but when I zoom in on certain areas I get A box with "Access Blocked This application is blocked for overusing Open Street Maps's volunteer-run severs: wiki.osm.org/Blocked"

My question is, does anyone know of maps that I can use with Locus with this detail on. Either paid for or otherwise, as getting an OS map out in wind is not fun   .

Thanks for the quick reply.
As per your attachment, agree the bearing in version 2.5.3 would show 43 deg which is the bearing from Map Centre to Current GPS position. But in the previous version ( which I have reinstalled to check ) that bearing is 223 deg which is the bearing from the Current GPS to the Map Centre.
Yes I realised after I posted this morning that I could use the the Guiding setting in the Information Panel which more accurate as it dynamically changes. So I will be using that in future.

I use Locus Pro for Geo Caching and my HTC One V does not have an inbuilt compass. I overcome this by using the the (Map - objects & style, Line to GPS) setting, and up until the last update all I did was centre the map on the cache and using a small compass head off in the direction given on the screen. Whilst out yesterday I noticed the reading was going to send me in the wrong direction, 180 deg to be exact, throughout the afternoon I just reversed the reading locus was giving me.
Would it be possible to look at maybe reversing this?

Firstly Arcao, may I say this is a brilliant Add-on to Locus. But since the last update every time I use it, after powering down my Tablet. I have to re-enter my GC.com Username and password.
 The previous version retained these.

Edit: Found the cause, the previous version was moved with Apps2SD. After moving it back the problem went.  :oops:
