Oh yes, you're right, the latest update was missing. Now it's fine again. Thanks for the fast reply!
Troubles & Questions / OSM Notes - Text
August 29, 2017, 21:05:52
Locus doesn't show any content of OSM Notes. There is just the icon and the POI contains a link to - but all the text of the Note is missing.
I also tried to manually export Notes from the OSM Api and import them as GPX - also here no text is shown. Is there any workaround?
Wishlist / Quick adding of points on map
September 30, 2012, 17:37:30
Hi Menion,
I'm using Locus on my tablet when mapping for OSM. There is one thing I miss when marking points on the map:
You can add a new point or you can add a predefined point  - I'd like to have something in between: A predefined point with predefined name, but with the option to change the name of the point easily, e.g. when mapping house numbers the automatic numbering feature for predefined points is not useful. Or having a predefined point "traffic sign" where I just have to add the content.
Do you think it's possible to have that in one of the future releases?

Thank you very much in advance!
Wishlist / Geocaching4Locus: Number of Caches
May 05, 2012, 15:59:55
I have a small wich regarding the geocaching plugin: I quite often change the number of caches to important depending on what exactly I need. Would it be possible to have the slider (or a text box to enter a number) for this setting in the main dialog and not only in the menu?

thanks for your suggestions (and sorry for the late answer...).
The Dropbox-way (as well as any other, diff-based approach) does not work since the databases are binary files.
The copying of back-up files is working, but I never know which version of a entry to keep -  the local one or the one from the backup.

So - no really good solution yet. Maybe a future version of Locus can provide such a functionality - it would be very helpful for people with smartphone and tablet. Maybe one can introduce categories located in an arbitrary location, which might be windows share or ftp server?
most likely the question already exists somewhere in the forum, but I was not able to find it:

How can I synchronize my saved points between two devices in the most elegant way? Export/Import is not exactly what I'm looking for, because it can't be used if points are edited on either side, just one-way updating is possible.

Thanks for your help!
