Yes, its wider than the screen.  It's a Hammerhead Karoo2 cycle computer.  It's smaller than a smart phone.  There doesn't appear to be a way to switch it to landscape mode, or that might be a workaround.

Yes, I see it now.  On this device the screen is narrow so I have to swipe left a little to see it, but it won't stay visible.   I can swipe left a little, but when I let go it goes back so I can't see it.  If I swipe further, that screen goes away.   

New install of 4.4.1 on a Hammerhead Karoo 2.   I've downloaded maps & themes from openandromaps.  The maps work fine, but I can't select the theme?  I installed them in Locus/mapsVector/_themes
If I select Map-screen content I can select a map, but it doesn't show the themes.  I'm using 3.54 on my phone and Map-screen content shows 'Map themes'

Thanks.  I tried running 3.54 (which is what I'm running on my phone), and 3.55.  It goes to Initializing, and 'Process unsuccessful, e, code 1811'.   Any ideas?

Update,  I successfully install 4.4.1 

I have Locus Map Pro on my phones and I'd like to install it on a hammerhead karoo 2.   Where can I find the APK for this?    Do I need to pay another subscription fee?
Thanks for a great app.  I've tried many the Karoo app, and many others, & Locus is the best.

Is there a way to show only my OSM notes, or only the ones that have not been uploaded?   Either on the map, or in a folder  like the waypoints would be fine.   

Is there a list of keys included in lomaps?   I've been told that there is a limitation in mapsforge so each way can include only 15 tags (including relations), so openandromaps has done some trimming.   They've trimmed out some tags that I want so I'm working on my own .map.   But if lomaps has what I want it would be well worth my time to purchase these.   Is there a list somewhere of what keys are included?   Some of the keys that I'm looking for, that OAM does not include are:
motor_vehicle
motorcycle
ATV
smoothness

Yes, my example came about because I'm using an OAM .map file, and it tag-transorms many surface tags into smooth_paved.   It doesn't look like the tag-transform has a way to pick up the stray tags either.

I've been using mkgmap for a couple of years and it handles this stuff much better.   You can process a way, and if it matches it doesn't execute they following code, so if it doesn't match anything you can catch everything left with a wildcard.

Something like the following was supposed to work at one stage but I'm not sure it is correct or bug free:

Maybe I'm missing something.  For a smooth_paved road, your example will match both rules, won't it?

I think the only way is to have a rule that matches all the alternative values of surface.

The problem with this is that a due to the anarchic nature of OSM, all the values of surface are not known are they?

I'll answer my own question.   It appears that if the map is a v3 map, the theme has to be v3, etc.

I starting to create my own custom mapsforge map and theme.   I can load the theme and use it with an openandromap map, or I can load the homebuilt map and some standard themes show up on the menu, but not mine.   
Any ideas why the theme  won't show up with the new map?

Edit: it works in Cruiser, but not in Locus (up to date pro version)
Edit: It looks like a V3 vs V4 issue, maybe my .map is V3.   Not sure why, I have the latest mapsforge jar file.

I'd like to export my tracks as I create them to a shared network folder.   I have ASUS File Manager app installed and it can access the shared folder.   I've tried 2 ways to export to the network folder
1) Using the Data Export from the track detail.  The net folder does not show up.
2) Using Share from the track detail, the File Manager app doesn't show up.

How can I do this so I don't have to execute the extra steps of saving the file on the device, then using the File Manager to move or copy it?
