Hi everyone, and Hi to the Locus Team!
I have been using locus for over 7 years, since I found it in the early days and I still love it and recommend it.

I am having trouble importing my kmz database of waypoints (generated from paraglidingspots.com) onto my new galaxy S8. I previously used a note 4.

I can select the file and then start the import process, I pass the first analysis of the file and then get asked where I want to put the points and tracks, and select the respective folders, then...the import process seems to start and run... but it never ends... I tryed yesterday and after 6-7h it was still on the "import" screen, with the blue progress bar sliding as if it were working.... I gave up (at some point I still do need my phone...) Then I tryed again overnight... still no success, and still progress bar working after that many hours, and I then tryed one last thing opening the kmz file into Googleearth and re-exporting it and the process is still running after 5 h now...

I attach the file(KMZ) to this post.(EDIT it is too large -9.5Mb and here is the link to it : http://dl.free.fr/kiXx7mJpJ ) It contains 21495points... they have description and links in them...all over Europe...

I need to precise that I deactivated any battery-saving-mode+app/optimisation+screensaver/lock screen. I tryed using the "performance mode" of my phone. nothing works...

I searched this forum extensively, found one related topic closed for quite some time, thus my new one.

Could somebody try out or tell me how to import my waypoints again on my new Locus/new phone?

I hope to get some answers from you... thank you anyway for any lead in this matter.
Greetings from france.
Antoine
