Yes, I just set a lot of points and then saved the track with the option to connect the points with a line.
I tried now to edit the existing route, just set the first point and then the last as the destination, can't test it now, but it looks now like this here

Yes, the sgs2 rocks, but i am looking for some alternative. Optimising the gps fix to auto doesn't work well for me, because i need to know often  exactly where i am (offroad in the mountains)

There are only 2 options for me:
1. taking another battery with me while traveling, but i can't charge them both overnight in the device.
So i need a second external recharger which is isn't easy concerning weight and quality (150g and battery "calibration"only works with one battery)

2. Or taking another light Android device with you, around 100g and you can recharge it separately.

Building a route and then routing doesn't work for me too, i can always only guide...

What is the best device in your opinion concerning battery life (10 hours tracking per day with not constantly screen on), gps stability, readable screen in the sun, light device (if possible < 120g) ?

Wieviel Daten kommen denn da zusammen, wenn man das online macht? für ganz Österreich sind das z.b. 60mb. Das geht doch garnicht mit 3G in einem fremden Land wo man vielleicht nur eine Sim mit 100mb pro Monat hat. Oder wie soll man das dann machen?

Okay prima, gilt also pro Karte. Benutzte gerade eine Transalp Karte, die Länder übergreifend ist.

Can someone explain how you manage to add a track point in the existing track?

Wenn man mehrere tracks hat und die Höhenmeter eintragen will, dann speichert er das pro Track oder immer nur für einen und überschreibt dann die Datenbank?
Ersteres wäre gut weil man da bei einer längeren Tour aus Einzel-Tracks alles vorher runterladen kann, wenn man unterwegs kein Internet hat.

Wie Suche ich bestimmte Pois wie z.b Wasser stellen, mit drinking_water finde ich nichts unter Funktionen / Suche
Z.b Unterkunft, Wasser, Supermarkt waren für mich wichtig

In osmAnd gibt es Kategorien oder man kann eigene erstellen.
In Locus ist mir die Suche nicht verständlich.

Vielleicht kann mich jemand aufklären wie ich das richtig mache.

Weiß jemand wie man bei den einzelnen Trackpunkten nicht nur die restlichen km des Tracks angezeigt bekommt, sondern auch die Höhenmeter?

Just want to add that Osmand can audio navigate you through an imported track, hope you don't misunderstand this! Perhaps it's useful for implementing this kind of (also offroad) navigation in Locus.
audio navigation is the only true navigation solution for mountainbiker  :-)
