Yes, following multiple cycling trips: the display is no longer dimming, behaving exactly as it did in LM 3. If the 'Brightness limit profile' switch in the 'Display Assistant' app is reset to Standard, the dimming effect is restored, which also affects other apps such as Google Maps.

Hallo,
in Good Lock aus dem Galaxy Store gibt es ein Modul namens Display Assistant. Dort findet sich ein Schalter für das Helligkeitsbegrenzungsprofil(Brightness Limit Profile), der von ,,Standard" auf ,,Light" eingestellt werden kann.
Ich habe das ausprobiert und es funktioniert. Mit einer Tischlampe, die direkt auf den Helligkeitssensor gerichtet ist, wird die Helligkeit nicht gedrosselt. Ein Test bei Sonnenschein steht noch aus.

Hallo,
heute haben wir unseren ersten Spaziergang im Sonnenschein mit der neuen Option (Helligkeitsbegrenzungsprofil auf ,,Light" eingestellt) unternommen.
Das Display war die ganze Zeit auf voller Helligkeit! Nach dem Zurückstellen dieser Option verhielt sich LM 4 wieder, wie von vielen Usern beschrieben, es verdunkelte sich, was bei LM 3 nie zu beobachten war.

The display was on full brightness all the time!

In Good Lock from Galaxy Store there is a module named Display Assistant. There is a switch Brightness Limit Profile, this can be set from Standard to Light.
I have tried this and it will work. With a table lamp directly to the brightnesss sensor there will no throttling the brightness. A test in sunshine must follow.

Hi,
I have Locus Map 4.33.0 since a few days and I have the same problem with dark display. I never had this with Locus Map Classic, which I used since 2012. In sunlight the display dimmed in about 1 minute.
In Locus 3 everything is OK. I use S24 FE. It`s very hard to follow the right track.
