My best workflow is to plan on a PC, then sync to Locus Map on Android. I start with Locus Map Web Planner when I want the same tools and styling, or I use Komoot or GPX Studio for quick drawing and elevation checks.

I export the route as GPX, save it to Google Drive, and keep the file name consistent with the date and area. On the phone, I import the GPX into Locus Map, convert it to a route, and enable guidance with voice prompts and off-route alerts.

If the track needs cleanup, I edit it in QMapShack to remove spikes, reduce points, and split segments, then export again. For offline trips, I predownload LoMaps and keep a backup copy. This keeps my phone library clean and searchable.
