things are clearer now. So I have to enter "bike repair", and within the results the respective category comes up, which then delivers local results.

I personally found the old list of categories more handy, but I can live with the new one as well.

I learned, that mid of 2025 the search for POIs and addresses was changed to a new, common search.

With the old LoMap POI search, which is still available for old LoMaps (prior to june 2025?) I could easily search for POI categories around my current location (e.g. "where is the nearest bike repair site"), and show the first X results at the map.
If its unclear please see the attached screenshot from the search at an "old" map (in german, but I think the point is clear)

For new maps I don't see this possibility anymore. I can search for a POI's name, but not within a specific category.

Am I just missing the path to a similar function for new LoMaps, or did this feature (which I love and desperately miss) disappear?
