Has anyone else observed this behavior and, ideally, have a suggested solution? I have already switched "Unlock screen" off and on again.

Yes. Pixel 6a. It's annoying but not annoying enough for me to start looking for solutions.

It works! I don't know why I didn't try it. I guess the close button is much more obvious and I assumed it would do the same thing. I still consider it a bug because I made new overlays, restarted the app (and the phone as well) and even after that, the map items menu still opened to that one overlay instead of the list.

I managed to switch them off from the side menu (Active items). The "Map items" menu is still broken though.

Hi, I'm testing the on-board calibration feature. It seems to work fine, but I can't remove my test overlays from the map. I found the All features/Map tools/Map items menu, but it doesn't show the list of overlays, only one of them. I can switch that one on and off but there's no way to access the others, which are now shown over all my maps.

If I close this with the X at the top, I get to the map view, not the map items list.
