Yes I did notice this already, and I have contacted the folks at tracestrack to inquire about having this map on an iPhone. They suggested osmand and kindly helped me with the (non trivial) process of adding their map to the app. I am satisfied with the result.
I also pointed out to them the strange broken line N and SSW of Picu Urriellu, but no reply on this point.
They also suggested I use https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=6/47.45/8.10&layers=P instead of tracesmap for viewing topo map: OK in a browser, but not on my iPhone where I need to have offline access to the maps.

As far as I understand this will the offline map on the Locusmap app when the iOS version is available.

Quote from: voldapet on April 25, 2025, 13:23:00The screenshot you sent us is from online LoMaps and unfortunately online LoMaps are not fully under our control. The contour lines in online LoMaps are generated from a lower resolution elevation model
Does this affect the accuracy of the "elevation gain/loss" as calculated when planning a route using web.locusmap.app?

Thanks Michael for the clarification, and Petr for the excellent news Re. the future availability of offline maps on iOS in "only weeks". Looking forward to it...

Quote from: voldapet on April 25, 2025, 13:23:00Please download offline LoMaps of Spain (in Android App)
I have an iPhone, so I'll be happy to do it as soon as Locus Map is no longer "Lite" on iOS  ;)

Hi all,
I be delighted to benefit from the kind "three LoMaps for free" offer, so I have followed the instructions on this page.
But on my iOS Locus Map Lite, I don't have a "Locus Store" item in my menu.
Even though this offer is no longer valid (?), I'd be happy to be able to access the store to buy other maps.

Quote from: voldapet on April 24, 2025, 22:52:27can you be more specific about the problem?
In the meantime I read that errors on the background map layer (which as far as I understand comes from Open Street Map) should be reported to OSM, do you confirm?
My issue is a strong discrepancy between contour lines, and the position of a summit and a couple of "mountain passes" in this area:
  • The summit of Picu Urriellu (2518m) is located approximately on the 2150m contour line
  • The two "mountain pass" symbols located SSO of the summit don't make sense WRT the contour lines.
From two other (paper) maps I know the summit is SE of the moutain hut, so apparently its position is correct but the contour lines are not.

Hi all,
Is this the correct forum section to report map errors?
In my case, it is a major discrepancy between the contour lines, and a summit + mountain pass.

Thanks Jan for the detailed roadmap update.

Quote from: Jan Čapek on April 04, 2025, 18:04:06The next big thing are offline maps. We are in the finish line with the development here.
For me this is priority #1, which would make me subscribe to Premium immediately.
Any hope it will be available for the oncoming hiking high season?

Quote from: Jan Čapek on June 26, 2024, 13:47:57we will be working hard to bring missing and most requested features, with offline maps being one of the highest priority.
Any good news, 9 months later?

Hi all,
When planning a route in the web planner, if a route section is drawn manually (instead of e.g. "Walking") on off-track areas of the map: the distance is updated, but not the elevation loss/gain.
I assume this is because there is no "known track" on these sections, but couldn't the elevation change information be derived from the DTM?

I've tried a couple more times, now it seems to word, wathever browser I am using (an old Safari, Firefox or Chrome).
So sorry for the useless trouble.

Hi all,
In the online route planner, I click in the field for Point 1 to "activate" it, then put my mouse on a POI (i.e. a mountain hut),click on "Add to route", but nothing happens: it is not added to the route.

On the other hand, if I do the same after creating at least ONE point in the route, then adding the same POI works fine.
