Well, I solved the problem. I downloaded Locus 4.28 from here. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1U8U1D-NGQ9CAnqXAkleEXi46wH2T7tMR
I then uninstalled the old version of Locus from BlueStacks home>settings > apps > locus map > uninstall
Then loaded the locus apk into BlueStacks by settings > import from windows > navigate to download folder and click on the Locus download

I've been successfully using Locus map for years on my Windows 11 PC using BlueStacks Emulator.
It now will not sync to the cloud, and says I am using an incompatible version of Locus.
I tried to update by launching BlueStacks > system apps > Play Store > Search for Locus Map
It shows I have it installed on my Pixel 9 Pro XL (correct) but does not give me the option to download it to Pixel 2 (which I long ago chose and my emulation device in BlueStacks)
Any suggestions?
