Title: Associate Locus and Navigon
Post by: cerdovolador on July 22, 2011, 10:13:19
Hi Menion, I cannot associate locus with Navigon, when I open some poi and go to navigation option, It always open the google navigation.
I thought it should ask for if I want to open with Navigon.
I have a HTC Desire and the last Locus pro Version.

hi, 'Navigation' button lunch system navigation, usually Google navigation. If you have Navigon installed, then there should be (below 'Navigation' button) also 'Navigon' button ... do you have it there? And if no, do you have one of latest Navigon version?

I don't know what is wrong with navigon on your phone. I actually stole some new version 3.5.4 and it look correctly as on screenshot.

Hi Menion!

This is still a "problem"!. If I open the tools menu for a map point (the two toothed wheels) I have only one "Navigation" icon and that leads to the system maps.

Of course, there is an easy work-around by starting the "real" navigation from the side bar menu. But this is a bit confusing.

I have Pro 1.14.3 (Android 2.2)

so no Navigon icon and you have Navigon installed right? (so no both icon as on my screenshot above)

what version of navigon you have? As I can see, post with published information, how to start Navigon are from March 2010, so if you have newer version, I'm sure it have to work ...

Hi Menion!

Maybe I have misundertood something? I don't have any special app "Navigon".
I use the navigation in Locus with Mapquest as the source.
So would like to have this Locus function to open from the ONLY navigation button that I can see.
But as I said, not a big problem; I just have to remember to not use that button.

aha, I thought you have navigon navigation. Hmm so it's easier that I should expect. Did you tried previous button with two small arrows and circle? Under last button are external applications. In previous one are tools for work directly in Locus, so there is direct call for navigation in locus
