Hello Emmanuel,
interesting problem. Seems that the database driver is creating some backup files because of some internal problem. Anyway, are you able to delete created files manually by some file browser (for example X-Plore or ES File explorer) or by connecting your device to desktop computer?
Hi Menion,
I connect it to my desktop computer and find 2 files :
- paris_Z9.....sqlite
- paris _Z9....sqlitedb-journal (see attached file)
I delete these 2 files
I stop the smartphone
I restart the smartphone
and I get the same results !!!!
Do you see anay other thing to do ?
Best regards.
Emmanuel
Hello madimax,
hmmm I'm checking the app code and there indeed is method that creates a backup database file in case, original file is corrupted. I've improved this a little bit so it should not create infinite number of backups as in your case.
Anyway it still does not solve your problem. Hard to help here. The app really has to detect an invalid map file on the path "storage/emulated/0/Android/...", so please double check that on this path, the problematic file really does not exists. Thanks.
Hi Menion,
the message is still displayed each time I start Locus on my phone !
How can I suppress this crazy message ? (I did not understand what you mean when you write : "please double check that on this path" !)
best regards
Emmanuel
Still? You were already able to connect phone to the PC and remove some duplicate map files. So I suggested doing it again after the update to the latest Locus Map version.
The app simply can't report this error without a reason. So there has to be some invalid map file.
Hi Menion,
i delete files in the directory of my phone ... and now it is ok !
thank's for your reply (I am not an expert !)
Emmanuel
Uff, perfect. Glad to read it!
