Title: How to remove unused data
Post by: MKJJ on April 21, 2022, 07:17:31
I've recently moved my Locus 3.59.0 Classic to a new device. No maps were added. However, the app uses almost 4 GBs data in the protected /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/ folder. I have no idea what this is. Since I don't have access to this folder, how would I remove the data without deinstalling Locus?

Thank you very much.

Mike

Hello Mike,
give a try to and more advanced file browser from Google Play, like Total Commands or ES File Explorer (or probably any other). They should allow also access to the Locus Map (or to any other app) private directories.

Thank you very much. Total Commander does indeed show the content of the protected folder. I haven't yet found the 4 GB data, but at least I can now look for it. Great tip!
