Title: Need help converting overlay for use with Locus
Post by: lostasock on June 06, 2019, 13:14:36
Hi, I'm looking for help to convert a map/overlay for use with Locus. I plan to overlay it over the NZ Topo map produced by LINZ. It's an overlay of the conservation areas in NZ.

It is available in a number of formats, which as far as I can tell don't natively work with Locus.

It is available on both sites below:
https://catalogue.data.govt.nz/dataset/doc-public-conservation-areas
https://koordinates.com/layer/754-doc-public-conservation-areas/

I've tried to find a way to convert it but haven't been successful. I'm traveling at the moment so really only have my phone. Could possibly remote into a computer if I had to, but it won't be so easy.

Can anyone covert it for me, or point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Hello,
just my quick check ... there seems to be available KML format. It should be fully supported by Locus Map app (as well as Locus GIS). Did you try to import this format?
