Hello menion
neither reading manual nor from playing arrond i´m able to understand function or use case of this feature :( please describe it a little bit more for me ...
and BTW, german translation in manual should be revised
- missing one letter and a word in this part
- some unneeded code
Hello menion
any answer about this?
Good day balloni,
sorry, I missed this topic.
This function, isn't is this one: https://help.locusmap.eu/topic/flexible_map_center ?
Thanks, now i got it ;)
i thought and hoped this funktion is like a "fake GPS" position ???
please don´t forget to revice the german manual
Ah manual ... @Michal?
And "fake GPS" ... what you expect from this? App already allows some kind of simulation over NMEA and some "indoor training".
thanks, i am aware of feature "NMEA simulation"
QuoteAnd "fake GPS" ... what you expect from this?
while programming a wherigo cache i need to simulate function at home.
So i´ve recorded single tracks with NMEA info between each zone of the wherigo for simulation.
Simulation work well :)
But app WhereYouGo alway use GPS values, or if GPS is switched off, last known position and not GPS values from NMEA simulation.
Hmm this is little bit different functionality.
I played with it a little and was a success with creating the feature, that NMEA location from simulation will be a global location ("mock" location) used in the whole system. So I now start NMEA simulation and Google Maps now start using it as the location source. Hmm quite a dangerous function I think ... anyway, this should be something you need for your Wherigo tests right?
Thanks for your effort 8)
so i´ll wait on next update ;D
Quoteand Google Maps now start using it as the location source
for now i didn´t understand this sentence
Hello menion
i can´t get it work with
Beta version 3.37.2.9 :-[
further advice needed...
Hello balloni, sorry I did not describe it in my previous answer correctly.
Based on my "Hmm quite a dangerous function I think" and also the fact, that it seems not to work yet 100% correctly, I decided not to put it into public version, sorry. So if you need to use some kind of simulation, use your existing tested method. Thanks for understanding.
