Title: No map display in the PROS version
Post by: emcolt on May 20, 2011, 08:42:17
Hi

I had installed the PRO version 1.51 with the swiss maps.
Download and installed the FREE Version 1.82.
In the PRO version 1.51, i see now no more online MAPS.
I have deinstalled the PRO Version and new installed, no online Maps.
In the FREE Vesion, I see the Onlin Maps.
I would again have installed gladly the PRO version 1.5.1.

kind regard emcolt

hi,
eh, I'm little confuse. You see no more online maps? So you do not see any Online maps? Just empty screen with 1.5.1 PRO? This is weird because database of online maps is in application itself. Try to laborate a little, maybe if you use own providers.xml file, may cause some problems ...
don't know :)

So. With the PRO 1.8.2 I can select the online Maps, but the Maps are not displayed.
With that PRO 1.5.1 is it also like that.
With the FREE 1.8.2 on-line maps are displayed.
I can delete the Locus installation. Everything. Then I can new install the 1.5.1 again. Or the 1.82.
I save the Swiss Map as offline Map.

Hi menion

It functions again. I have LOCUS deinstalled and all files which I with the search word LOCUS found, have I deleted.
Subsequently, the PRO 1.5.1 installed. Now it goes again. :P
Question: I can the PRO version and a FREE version run paralell? :?:  Background is the SWISS MAP and the new functions in the Version 1.8.

Hmm interesting.

Anyway ... you can have both version installed at once, but I suggest not to run both of them simultaneously. Then there should not be any problem because since 1.5, there was no change in databases. But do not count on it forever ...
