Title: Locus "unable connect to device" on Xoom
Post by: jetjock64 on May 19, 2011, 19:55:40
Can't navigate on Xoom because Locus Pro is "unable to connect" to GPS device--either Xoom or BT GPS.  Googlemaps and Mapdroyd work fine.  What can I do?

Same issue here on Viewsonic G Tablet running Vegan-Tab mod trying to connect Emtac BT Gps that works with MapDroyd and others...amazing piece of software otherwise. :)

My 3G enabled Xoom connects the GPS without issue. I am using the Locus Pro.

I am running My Tracks and use GPS Status apps as well.

No issues at all using it all day long today. Great App!

Sounds like your 3G phone connectivity may interact with this app in some way that also enables your internal GPS connectivity.  My Xoom is Wifi only and I am also using Pro, and at a loss.
