Hello, when I hear music (via VLC) at say 80% and then navigate with Locus Map Pro, the navigation voice drops to like 30% = too quiet.
I can raise the navigation voice (while still saying something) again to 80% for the duration.
But at the next navigation prompt the volume dropped again to 30%.
When only navigating, the volume stays at 80% all the time.
What am I doing wrong?

Harald
Locus Map Pro with Android 7.1 on Moto G5
Hello,
sorry for a late answer. Not sure what I may do with this issue. Locus itself does not set volume level.
May you please change settings in menu > settings > misc > audio output ... to second option? If this make change.
tried with other nav software, same volume problem - so seems to be Android-based
so far no solution, but at least the problem is not Locus based :)
ah interesting. It seems more to be a problem of VLC player. Did you tried different music player? There is a lot of them. Alternatively did you tried second possible "Audio output" in Locus Map itself as I suggested before?
Limit volume within app safe level?
If I can recommend, try the Musicolet app. I have verified that the sound drops when navigating, but then returns to the original volume. It works in Lucus 3x and 4x.
