Hello jusc
top right hamburgerbutton >Add point>search
http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:planning&s=route&s=planner#add_individually_defined_points

Thank you, but that´s too clumsy.
I look always for an adress at first, if I plan a route, so the search button should be integrated on Route Planer "Main" screen, at least  for me.  :D

I was thinking about this option directly available on Route planner screen as well.

For now, use mentioned method or long-click on "+ point" button should help.

The long press is handy, thanks I didn't know about the shortcut.
Can be the same way added the long-press action to drawing mode button for quickly switching the routing data source without leaving route planner?

Edit: by trying the long press actions I found a bug: the slider for the zoom buttons seems to make Locus crash on move.

how to "discover" these often very useful shortcuts though? long tap every possible object and see whether there is hidden gem inside?

Heh, yep, sometimes they are little bit hidden. Usually because they are not so important to have own visible button. So yes, in free time, train patience with long-clicks :).
