hmm don't know KMZ files. As i searched now, it some kind of KML files. May you attach here some small sample?

(moved to wish, because Locus actually support only KML, GPX, LOC (not sure:) ) files)

As far as I know... KMZ files are a folder with several KML files... that's it...

In Google Earth, you can open a KMZ file and save it as KML file. At least this works for me with my kmz and kml files.

Cheers, berkley

If the file isn't too big and it isn't too private, you could send it to me? well, just an offer, you don't have to...

KMZ is zipped KML file(s) - http://code.google.com/intl/cs/apis/kml ... hives.html (http://code.google.com/intl/cs/apis/kml/documentation/kmzarchives.html)
You can create it manually - zip KML file and change .zip to .kmz

fine then I don't see any problem
- rename file to zip, extract doc.kml file and import it in Locus ....
