First of all thank you for the great software that is Locus. I am thoroughly impressed with both the apps and the features, and with geonames support, it got even better.
However, I would like to express my wish for an offline search for street names and/or addresses in the downloaded maps. I do not know if this is even possible to add in without too much hassle or excessive search times, but I would like to hear your input nonetheless. It would truly be an awesome feature for someone who tends to not find his way around like myself ;)
I was talking about it in some other topic, but cannot find it now. Searching on images is not possible. These are just ... images, nothing more. They do not contain any information that I can gather from them. For some offline search, I have to use any external data source .. which I don't have, or vector maps (OSM) which Locus can't handle ...
