I'm trying to see daily kilometres cycled/traveled on my device. Could you please tell me how I can set it up so it can start the meter once I begin cycling and display the final number once finished?

Start track recording every time when you start cycling / travelling. Save the tracks all in the same folder.
In folder mark all saved tracks - go to tool icon down in the right corner - use arrow up icon - statistics.
