Title: Maps Advanced
Post by: rubel on February 24, 2016, 10:40:42
hi,
Locus Version 3.15.3:
i changed the zoomfactor unter maps/advanced (permanent) to 200% in an older version.
Now with the new version i want to switch back to 100% and i see only part of a map
and can't change anything.

Any advise.
Thanks
Rubel

Good day rubel,

may you please post a screenshot of mentioned settings, to see what exactly is a problem? Thanks.

Me too, I have some other zoom issues. Sometimes, the zoom factor is 15 138%. If you klick on "minus" it changes to 14 138% or by cklicking plus to 16 138% It does not switch back to ?? 100%.
Somewhere John reported it a few days ago.

Here the pic.
Last version, here appears a slider and not a picture. It seems to be a bug.

Hi
rubel change orientation of your device to portrait, so you will see a switch and a slider ;)

@menion
strange behavior:
with PRO
- 100%, i enable switch, nothing more, confirm set > 200% is  set, i disable switch >100% is set
with Beta
--100%, i enable switch, nothing more, confirm set > 125% is set, i disable switch >100% is set

Hi balloni55
thanks.
my view setting are fixed to landscape.
I changed to portrait, and the slider appears :-)
I think i must buy a new phone, with a big big display and high resolution
and a big battery.

no need for a bigger phone. It's enough to improve it in Locus. So try next version and let me know if it's enough.

And @balloni55, I've fixed there few more troubles so hope, it solve also yours.

V 3.15.3.4beta
unfortunately not :-[,
in landscape on/off is half visible and "% slider" is furthermore invisible
(http://s27.postimg.org/snwpt1wvz/Screenshot_2016_03_05_09_33_38.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/snwpt1wvz/)
and an additional problem appeares on my device and with VM
map preview isn´t displayed with "LO vector maps" up to ZL 15 (only grid), on ZL 16 endless "loading...." no map, from ZL 17 map is visible.
Map preview with rastermap work on all ZL :)

Hi menion
with V3.16.0 map is always loaded :)
only slider knob is not visible and so user can´t set map resolution

Hmm  never-ending story continue :). But this time, it's really interesting. On my three devices it works correctly. What about same "seek bar" for example when you define width of route during draw in "Add new route", or volume level at bottom of navigation dialog (when you tap on icon of next command during navigation), or some other settings like size of text for vector maps and some others? They all use same UI component, so all has same problem on your device? Weird.

Quoteso all has same problem on your device?
no, on all these slider knob is visible
- width of route during draw in "Add new route"
- volume level at bottom of navigation dialog
- like size of text for vector maps

problem of unvisible slider knob is only in landscape orientation while set map resolution
EDIT:
one i found with functional but cut and shifted slider knob
