Title: get accurate position (average of multiple GPS reading)
Post by: Andet on January 29, 2015, 12:44:32
hello
I'd like to get your opinion before putting below idea to voting system.

New feature: getting accurate position from average of multiple GPS reading.
Smartphone GPS gets accuracy of 10m or so, the feature would give accuracy of 1m or less.
You stop, call the function, wait, and get new point, that you can see or save (with included info what accuracy was achieved).

What for? Examples:
For accurate measuring, or
border establishing, or
difficult cache searching.

Regards
Andet
